What do you miss most about being a kid?

Recommended Posts

10 things I miss most about being a kid:

1. Swapping football stickers and the joy of completing an entire album

2. Going down Filbert Street watching shite football on crap pitches

3. Huddling round a radio at 1pm on Monday afternoon at school for the FA Cup 3rd round draw

4. FA Cup Final day (the whole day)

5. Playing Subbuteo with my old man

6. Practicing diving headers in the back garden

7. Climbing trees

8. My ZX Spectrum and copying games tape to tape

9. Taping the top 40 off the radio

10. Winding my sister up

Seeing how high you can piss up the wall

When I was at infant school we had an outside toilet with no roof. The urinal was a black painted wall with a trough at the bottom. We used to try to draw pictures with wee. :D

that all your dreams were still a possibility

endlessly long hot summers

taking the piss out of the older bigger kids and seeing if we could outrun them on our bikes,

So because of modern reality TV, the entire medium of television was better pre 2000? Na. It's probably as good as it's ever been, there's more guff knocking about but it's relative to the amount in general you can choose from these days.

There's no Gladiators though

I've recently purchased a pair of adidas kaiser 5 (in red) and can achieve this look. Perfect for the long tongues.

Playing footy all day down the park with mates be it in the pouring rain getting muddied up or in the baking summer holidays getting cherry red and suffering the next day via sunstroke.
