m4DD0gg Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 Incredible. 12.5 for that is day light robbery. Feel sorry for the palace fans, their owners may as well have gone and torched that money.
ian_marshall Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 Will be fondly remembered for the good, the bad, and the bizarre. On his day he's unplayable but sadly his day comes once every season or two. Wish him well and hope that he goes on to achieve a successful career. StanSP Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 Gutted to see him go. Could have been the next Pele. Owners will pay for this. They'll realise soon that this decision is totally and utterly wrong. Why are we selling such a hot talent for only £12.5m?!
Kendal Fox Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 I wish him nothing but the best. Personally would have liked to see him stay, but that would have required for him to eke out some impressive performances and, save for the Swansea game during the run-in last year, he just hasn't been convincing. Granted, he hasn't made much of an appearance, but clearly Ranieri has based much of his decision making in not using him on how he's been looking in training. A little sad, but it's the right decision. Good luck Jeff!
Ric Flair Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 One of those when you get the bill for an expensive meal and they charge you for bread, olives and a mineral water. JACKPOT. Leg it.
Dr The Singh Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 I always felt, if he was given a run in the team he could have been a great player. Good luck to him, one of the most exiting and unpredictable players with fun
daddylonglegs Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 He made me laugh/cry more than he made me cheer. not sad to see him go, but I wish him all the best!
ian_marshall Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 Don't know why but I have a feeling that Big Sam might stick him up front alongside Benteke.
WiFoxes Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 Good bye, Jeff. And thank you. Can't wish him anything but all the best. Was unfortunately never going to break into the team so this is definitely what's best for Schlupp and the club. edit: Just to add my favorite Schlupp memory, Sunderland away after the 0-0 to clinch survival, as the team celebrates he has no idea what's going on. That'll be my lasting memory of the Schluppster

Craig Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 Gonna miss shouting 'G'WON JEFF!' Had his moments, but ultimately not good enough at this level consistently.
Fox92 Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 I've always been a big critic of his, but on the other hand I thank him for his time here and what we achieved (promotion to the top flight and somehow winning it). I don't particularly like Palace but all the best Jeff.

kingfox Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 He had some good spells now and then. £12.5 million for him though, quality business from us, just hope we don't use it to sign Robbie Brady.
okie fox Posted 13 January 2017 Share Posted 13 January 2017 Schlupp reached a plateau and never kicked on from there. Lots of speed but no guile. Clearly wanted to leave so no point hanging on to him.
