HankMarvin Posted 29 January 2017 Share Posted 29 January 2017 KAR STALLING Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri submits second bid for Anderlecht defender Kara Mbodji The Tinkerman has already seen one bid worth £7.5million rejected by the Belgian side CLAUDIO RANIERI has been forced to launch a fresh bid for Anderlecht’s Kara Mbodji. The Leicester boss has had a £7.5million offer rejected for the Senegal international centre-back — also wanted by Crystal Palace. The Belgian club are demanding £13million for Mbodji, 27, who is currently playing for Senegal at the African Cup of Nations. He let Luis Hernandez join Malaga after failing to establish himself at the King Power Stadium. And since the Italian has stepped up his pursuit of Mbodji after failing to agree a deal with Sassuolo for Azzurri defender Francesco Acerbi. Leicester also have Hertha Berlin defender Sebastian Langkamp, 29, on their radar. He has a long-term deal at Hertha but has been in and out of the side this season. The Foxes are also trying to hijack Zenit St Petersburg’s move for Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic.
