Now Shakespeare's in Charge

Recommended Posts

The first team talk?

Shall I compare thee to Premier League Champions?
Thou art less seeming and more desperate:
Rough winds do shake the lower positions in May,
And summer's transfer window hath all too short a date:
Sometime too wide the shot of Vardy shines,
And often is Mahrez's step-overs dimm'd;
And every cross from Albrighton sometime declines,
By chance, or Fuch's hairy chin, untrimm'd;
But thy eternal 2015-16 season shall not fade
Nor lose possession of the ball thou ow'st;
Nor shall Pearson brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in these thirteen games thou grow'st

So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

All these years Shakespeare's been here I've never actually heard him speak.

It's quite unnerving how much he sounds like Pearson.

If he added some awkward pauses, some random exhaling and some antagonistic comments you'd have a pitch perfect Pearson impression.

He needs to work on his swearing at fans and fighting with players

Intererestingly he said in his presser that rudkin asked him to take the team for the next game - not until they find a new manager. Soecifically the next game.

The talk about having no one lined up may be vacuous.

Yup. They've got someone lined up.
