Wymsey Posted 18 March 2017 Share Posted 18 March 2017 Anyone interested at all with this? Just a 'friendly', but it will give a strong indication of where we are in terms of any progress under Southgate. The squad doesn't leave me with much confidence that we're going to prove much, sadly. Reckon 3-0/3-1 to them.
AKCJ Posted 18 March 2017 Share Posted 18 March 2017 Might have gone had Leicester not been so ****ing good at making me spend all my money.
Poznan34 Posted 18 March 2017 Share Posted 18 March 2017 Last year's 2-3 from 0-2 down (with the Vardy backheel goal) was about as good as it gets for England friendlies.
peterborofox Posted 19 March 2017 Share Posted 19 March 2017 Friendlies don't mean a thing. We'll probably win. Never do when it matters
foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 March 2017 Share Posted 19 March 2017 Vardy should start this and rightly so, with Kane they are our two best strikers
GaelicFox Posted 19 March 2017 Share Posted 19 March 2017 Hopefully the Germans will batter yea and really ramp up the pressure on Southgate
spacemunky Posted 20 March 2017 Share Posted 20 March 2017 West Ham winger Michail Antonio has withdrawn from the England squad because of a hamstring injury.
tom27111 Posted 20 March 2017 Share Posted 20 March 2017 Couldn't care less about it. The shower of shit that played last summer has made sure I won't watch England for a very long time. The FA will never change either, same old shit. If people stop going to games, stop watching on TV and stop buying merchandise, the FA might actually look at doing something about the state of the national team. Ted Maul Posted 20 March 2017 Share Posted 20 March 2017 I'll be watching for Vardy, but that's the only reason.

Stadt Posted 20 March 2017 Share Posted 20 March 2017 Don't understand the Southgate hate tbh, think it's a step in the right direction. We played well against Spain, there was more intensity and intelligence about our play.

AKCJ Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 I can only assume he's going off the current squads. Neuer, Boateng and Kane are not in the teams. Saying that, he rates Sterling over Draxler, Cahill over Howedes and Hart over Leno
Ashley Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 I decided to give this one a miss baring in mind we have Champions League Q/F around the corner also Germany away wont be as good as last years!

foxy boxing Posted 22 March 2017 Share Posted 22 March 2017 It will be the same old same old with England, do well in friendlies and qualifiers but when it comes to tournaments will Southgate be able to stop players freezing up through fear! and get them playing decent passing football with pace and precision and get them to play how they play for their clubs

RowlattsFox Posted 22 March 2017 Share Posted 22 March 2017 Hope Ward-Prowse gets a chance tonight, big fan of his and seeing as set pieces are about our only chance of scoring he could be useful.
