ozleicester Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 these three are in Perth this month and i cant justify or afford all three. Who should i go see? A couple of factors... Greenday is at Perth Arena, great views and acoustics and seating. Madness is outside in a garden type venue, no seating Dara is at theatre, good seats and views. help me decide please
Carl the Llama Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 Madness. Dara. In that order. (I'm just going to pretend you didn't show interest in watching Greenday live and we won't mention it again)
TiffToff88 Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 I'd say Madness. Green Day are not what they used to be (neither are Madness to be fair - but still a better show) I like Dara O'Briain on panel shows but not so sure i could sit through 2 hours of just him. I saw Madness many years ago at De Montfort Hall when Lee Thompson fell off the stage and broke his leg near the start of the show. The crowd were so unexpectedly insane that i didn't even notice at the time - and i was right near where it happened!
foxy boxing Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 it would be madness to miss ma (oh you get the joke)

Hollism Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 I vote Dara, but it depends on how often they're in Aus.

lgfualol Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 Only if Greenday are performing Dookie and their older stuff live. Not that whiny new stuff. I would say Madness. Dara goes "ERRRRRRRRRRRRR" too much I think it would annoy you IRL

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 Wouldn't go for any personally but probably Madness would be the most fun!
StanSP Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 Dara O'Briain Green Day Madness In that order, personally. What's the cost of each, just out of interest?

Remember its Aussie $ so cut the cost in half for the pounds eg $100 = 50 quid roughly Dara - $90 Madness $110 Greenday $
Hollism Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 FWIW I saw Dara at De montfort hall about five years ago and he was brilliant. I like Greenday's old stuff and Madness isn't my thing.

ousefox Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 Madness were great fun when I saw them at Leeds Fest. Not sure I would pay a lot of money to see them though.
EastAnglianFox Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 Would have said Madness but if Greenday play the same set they have used for their recent US gigs then id actually opt for that one personally.

separator Posted 21 March 2017 Share Posted 21 March 2017 After a quick check on Google, you have Marc Almond, Eddi Reader from Fairground Attraction, and Irish crooner Daniel O'Donnell all playing Perth this month. Spoilt for choice or what!
