The People's Hero Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 We need a North London Leicester Supporters Club! We're currently represented in Islington, Wood Green and Arsenal! Kent, mate. I'm about an hour away from London on the train (the line I'm on goes to Victoria). Having said that, from Victoria, via a series of tube journeys as I'm sure you know, almost all of London is accessible! Maidstone though, is in Kent. On the River Medway. If you've ever been to Gillingham, we're in that neck of the woods. Ish.
The People's Hero Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 You edited your post and now I look a right tw at!
Finnegan Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 Yeah I realised I knew where Maidstone was about twenty seconds after posting, hence the edit. I thought I'd read you mention being in London in a couple of threads, must have been wrong.
The People's Hero Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 I'm going to start doing more games in London. It's very rare now that I have to work at any point over the weekend and as the cricket season is finished.... well, I may as well..
Finnegan Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 Yeah I was planning to do so, but realised promptly that there's only QPR and Palace, innit? Going to QPR, mind. Might travel about the south a bit n'all, dunno if I fancy Sarf'end though.
The People's Hero Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 I did Palace last year. Cr ap atmosphere. We were cr ap. It was cold. Wooden seat. Nasty. Last year we had Reading and Millwall too which are both London. Where the fu ck is Southend? I should know this shouldn't I?
Finnegan Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 Sarf'end is in Eeehseeks. On the coast, obviously. Lots of chav boy racers and easy (if very dirty) women. Wouldn't really call Reading London, commuter posers more like .
The People's Hero Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 Sarfend is a go-er then I'd say. I bet it's on a fu cking tuesday night or something though. Might have to be a piss up and stay there jobbie.
Finnegan Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 I'd be up for that if I can drag some of my infidel (Ipswich, Man Utd, Celtic and... and... C.. Cov) mates up with me. I'm really not for trucking up to Southend on my lonesome.
The People's Hero Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 If it's a Saturday, a few of the likely lads off here will be game. Especially now you've mentioned easy women!
Finnegan Posted 4 October 2006 Share Posted 4 October 2006 Suppose there's nought wrong with meeting new people. I don't really want to be the baby amongst an older demographic, mind.
