As much I love The Beatles, The Smiths, Joy Division etc; the early 2000's with The Libertines was top quality.

I like me some mid-noughties 'indie' for some reason. Unashamedly been listening to One Night Only, The Kooks and Razorlight this morning. And The Feeling.

The ****ing Feeling. Help me.

Hahahhahaaa I went to see One Night Only in like 2007. Was boss. Everyone liked The Kooks, too.

this is a weekly argument me and my brother have.

Totally forgot about cooper temple clause. Can't remember if I ever liked any of there stuff though. Think they were featured in an NME article about 'best upcoming british bands', which also had (IIRC) The Coral, and The Music amongst others.  Think the one they tipped as most likely to succeed was Haven.

Waited months to buy the album. Like this song, but the rest was pretty disappointing IMHO.

The Cooper Temple Clause were my favourite band from 02 to 05 and at one stage they seemed on the cusp on the big time; Top 3 album, Brit Nomination, Radio 1 single of the week etc and then they decided to take 4 years off and by the they came back the scene had moved on.

Similar story with The Music who you mention, they did Glasto in 04 and were on late afternoon on the main stage and nailed it. Then they take 4 years off

The "Noughties" were very much a pop-punk/ska-punk era for me.

Spent most of my time listening to the likes of Green Day, Blink 182, sugarcult, less than jake, bowling for soup, Spunge, streetlight manifesto, jimmy eat world, dropkick murphys, etc...

Good times!
