The Manchester City hot prospect was brought City on-loan as Ian Holloway tried to stop the Foxes' slide towards relegation from the Championship.

Nigerian-born, the winger was selected to represent England at youth level while at City and got his first chance of first-team action during a loan spell with Rochdale before having another stint away from Eastlands at City the following year.

He showed glimpses of his top-flight quality during the spell at the Walkers Stadium but he missed a glaring chance on his debut and also suffered an injury that saw his time at the club come to a premature end after making just four appearances for City, two coming from the bench.

He went on to have a loan spell with Cardiff City and featured for the Bluebirds in their 2010 play-off semi-final success against the Foxes.
