They say 13 is unlucky for some and Jason Jarrett's 13 appearances in a City shirt on-loan from Preston North End were13 that were to be quickly forgotten.
Rob Kelly brought the midfielder to the club on-loan from Deepdale with the task of aiding City's battle against relegation but when Kelly got his marching orders and Nigel Worthington came in, Jarrett was to feature no more.
He'd helped Wigan Athletic to the top flight but had not replicated that midfielder box-to-box form after that. He managed to score a screamer of a goal against Leicester at the Walkers Stadium but that's what he'll be remembered for most.
The Bury-born player had already been on-loan at Hull City before his brief time as a Fox and was loaned out to QPR and Oldham Athletic after.
