Player Profile

The Scottish centre-half played just a handful of games after arriving south of the border from Law Volunteers, Motherwell.

He made his debut in April 1912 in a home game against Clapton Orient but made just two more as he acted mainly as back-up during his time at the club.

The arrival of Jimmy Harrold saw him move further down the pecking order and he swiftly moved on for more regular first team action, this time to Peeble Rovers.

His football career never really took off and he went on to work in coal mining, where he sadly died at the age of just 26 from cirrhosis of the liver.
