Former Manchester United man Dublin was born in Leicester and made the move to his hometown club in 2004 from Aston Villa. He played for South Leicester team Wigston Fields in his young days.
He didn't make a great start to his time with the Foxes though, being sent-off in his debut against West Ham United. He started as a striker but scored only four goals in 38 competitive matches. Having lost his place as the club's main forward, Dublin was switched to centre-back and continued to play there until his contract was terminated by mutual consent in January 2006.
He played 65 times in total following his free transfer move from Villa, scoring six goals along the way, before moving on for a brief stint with Celtic and Norwich City before he retired from professional football.
He'll be most remembered for his last-minute goal in the FA Cup 6th round against Charlton Athletic which saw City through to the quarter-final stage.
