The Swedish defender made a somewhat flying visit to the Walkers Stadium when he played for the Foxes in the 2005-06 season.

Signing from Swedish club Hammarby, where he came through the youth ranks before making 65 league appearances for the club, Gerrbrand was a somewhat unknown quantity to Foxes fans on his arrival. And he did little to leave a positive impression on his one year in Leicestershire. He made 20 appearances in all competitions but failed to cement a first-team place and made a quick return to Scandinavia the following summer when he signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Fredrikstad. He since went on to return to his favourite club Hammarby.
