One of the club's own, Grewcock was born in Leicester and came through the club's youth system, actually being given his debut as a 16-year-old in a home game against Cardiff City in March 1979. And he burst on to the scene - scoring on his debut to endear himself to the Foxes faithful.
That goal didn't spark regular outings in the blue and white for the youngster, who could play out wide on either flank. He did get a couple of chances to prove his worth again but couldn't cement a regular starting role, something which saw him move on to Gillingham three years after his introduction to senior football.
He played more in a central midfield role for the Gills but his career took a big knock when he had to return to Leicestershire, but this time with Shepshed Charterhouse. It seemed as though he was destined for non-league football before a somewhat shock move to Burnley, where he did well despite the Lancashire side not enjoying their best fortunes while he was at Turf Moor.
After his time with Burnley he was given a chance to continue in league football with Cardiff City after being handed trials, but wasn't offered a deal. Instead, he brought his playing days to a close at Burnley Bank Hall.
