He created THREE teams from scratch pretty much that went on to win the top THREE divisions in English football. To suggest his ability boils down to two players is just beyond laughable.7 points

One of my favourites was from our title winning season against Manchester City. ‘They’re not just beating the richest club in the land, they’re ripping them up. On their own patch!6 points

This thread really gets to me. I wish I could be of some help but it would just come across as insincere and patronising. If there are any fellow foxes up in Yorkshire who could do with a chat, someone to watch the City with or just an impartial set of ears to listen... give me a shout.6 points

Have to say it's amusingly ironic that one of the reasons against a 2nd ref is the threat of civil unrest a remain vote would cause... given that this is coming from the people who have called remain protestors anything from hysterical to undemocratic I'm calling their bluff because obviously any losing brexiteers would be courteously diplomatic about the result.5 points

A second referendum is a perfectly sensible option if you believe in democracy. We know much more about what Brexit will actually mean than we did in June 2016 - the public can make a much more informed decision. Obviously some people want to leave the EU no matter what and will vote the same way again irrespective of whatever 'deal' is on offer, but I'm willing to bet that there are also plenty of people who voted leave in 2016 but were less certain about it, and may have changed their minds since. Surely it's better to take this important step in our country's history with a clear and fresh5 points

Hi both, Everyone in this thread would appreciate any form of help you can offer, so your offers of an ear will be greatly appreciated. I don't have a great knowledge of depression like some of the guys in here, but I have learnt I can help where certain experiences relate to what I have experienced or seen. For example, the fella in here talking about university life. Whilst I have a limited knowledge of depression, it wasn't so long ago I was at uni and knew about that side of things. So I posted what I knew about the university networks of support. I su5 points

Not a huge fan of Jonathan Pearce, but his MOTD commentary of Vardy's goal v Liverpool, when he shouted "Oh what a screamer". Perfect in its simplicity.5 points

Have we watched the same games this season ?? Gray has improved massively from last season and was linking up with chilwell and maddison brilliantly down our left hand side earlier this season (remember united?). Really unfortunate timing with his injury as he was playing regularly up until that point, but returned against West ham as a sub and caused them havoc, then scored that very good goal against Cardiff. Compare that to last season where he was behind Diabate in the pecking order (and deservedly so). He doesn't shoot constantly anymore and mixes it up when taking on his man. How has he5 points

Our most successful captain ever should be able to retire here. Morgan Vardy And Schmeichel are invaluable characters leaders that aren’t easy to replace. His playing time will reduce but why not let him phase out into a coaching role. I Would like all three of them involved at our club well after they finish playing. Nothing but respect for them.5 points

The annoying thing is I'm probably more Eurosceptic than I was in June 2016, especially after recent developments and speeches about further integration. But at the same time I'm more convinced Brexit is an attempt from fringe members of the Tories to slash regulations and workers' rights that will cause even greater divisions in society than exist now. What's a guy to do.4 points

The prime minister - whoever it is - has to make a statement to MPs by 21 January if no deal has been agreed with the EU. MPs would then have the opportunity to vote on the government's plan to leave without a deal and although that vote would not be legally binding, it would be very difficult to ignore politically. At the same time, if no deal is agreed by early next year, markets are likely to tank, the business community will be up in arms and public opinion is very likely to be heavily against leaving without a deal. It would be highly unlikely that the government would push ahead with no4 points

I love this one! One that puts a tear in your eye because it actually happened! I was at that game so didn't hear this commentary till much later, but that was for me one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. Incredibly, we should have won that game by even more! This has to be one of the best passages of play in LCFC history, even though it didn't lead to a goal! When people knock our current style and possesion football, this is the clip to show what is possible if the style is nailed. The key is both the speed of the passing and the movement of the players. .....that if you are travelling to The Amex on Saturday that BHAFC will pay some of your travelling costs whether you are travelling by car or rail. Parking near the stadium is very limited and often non existent. If driving your match ticket will cover Park and Ride from two locations in Brighton. (The third location, Brighton University, is temporarily out of use).Similarly, by train part of your travel on the London line, Sussex Coast East and West lines to Falmer is paid for. You can find much more detail about this travel scheme on our website www.footballcities.co.uk (4 points

Don't see the issue here.... 1 year deal for Wes as a squad player would be fine plus crucial experience in helping the younger guys. People saying he's finished don't understand the game. He's clearly not as good as he was but he's had more good games than bad games this season. The two red cards haven't helped his case and the Everton game was his worst game I can remember in a Leicester shirt. However, 4 league clean sheets this season and he's played in 3 of them. People need to look around and realise there's a lot of poor defenders at this level so im co4 points

I've been one of Morgan's biggest defenders on here as a lot of fans make him the scapegoat for anything poor defensively. However he'll be nearer 36 than he will be 35 at the start of next season and with Maguire secure in his place and spending a fortune on Evans, Soyuncu and Benkovic this summer then something is drastically wrong if we feel we need to retain an ageing Morgan.3 points

Did we have that many? We had a lot of free transfers that didn't work out, but when in that market you're going to. The paid for questionable signings were mostly after Ranieri came and the Pearson / Walsh trust was no longer there, or Walsh was gone completely.3 points

Seems spuds have had to borrow £237m to go towards spiraling costs of the new ground. Also to pay day to day bills. They are now £637m in the red could not happen to a nicer bunch.3 points

A deeply sinister individual. It was The Banker who caused all our problems back in 2008 - and has anyone seen Mr. Blobby and Cameron in the same place at the same time, the chubby pink-faced grinning goon(s)?3 points

He sounds like a prat, in all honesty, and his mates. On one of the Leicester facebook groups one of his mates, or "mates" started getting angry with other people on there for saying the club were right. Going on at us for being plastics and jumping on the bandwagon. Pathetic! And to anyone else who is saying he shouldn't have got banned and a warning would have sufficed... well what kind of precedent does that set by the club? It would say to everyone else that it's ok to jump over the barriers and do the same thing - and if they did all they'd get is a talking to. In3 points

All of us stayed in our seats though and paid our respects. What if his actions led to hundreds of others doing the same? We are all eternally grateful and thankful but there is a way of doing things, and running to a grieving man over a barrier doesn’t strike me as comforting. If you look at the letter he got he’s been banned for two months, which will be ended if he meets the security team on 29th December, not a season long ban or a banning order. The club are spot on in my view3 points

Thing is Ranieri's 2nd season was so bad it has ultimately put a slight dampener, or asterisk, on his achievements here. Ultimately it's not what he's remembered for and we love him for what he did and how brilliantly he managed a promising situation, but the 2nd season seriously exposed his flaws as a manager, and as a result a lot of fans wouldn't want to see him back as manager, which is crazy when you think we won the league under him.2 points
