  1. I think everyone is missing the point. Do you know how difficult it is to dodge the Europa league and still look like you really want it for the fans ??? That in itself takes skill. Well done lads....you controlled that to a tee.

  5. We haven't had enough positivity this season so I'm posting this wanky love statement to the main man. 16 goals, 4 assists in an at times uninspired team. That is unbelievable. We're so lucky to have him and we really need to cherish his remaining career with us. The type of striker whose name you scream out whenever you take a swing at a ball in the park with your mates. The type of striker kids growing up supporting Leicester idolise. When I was growing up it was Fryatt or Hume (no disrespect to them). The thought of him putting on another team's shirt makes me feel ill.

  8. I only dipped in and out of the match thread, as my stream was a bit laggy and it ruins it if you find out about a goal before you see it. However, on my stream, it was former Hammer Tony Gale as a co-commentator. Talking about what a great bloke Trevor Brooking is, and having a laugh about the colour of his "dickie dirt", and generally giving West Ham the benefit of most doubts. Probably whilst wearing a pearly coat and eating some whelks. I struggle to recall a Leicester legend with a Leicester accent biasedly commentating on any of our gam

  14. When is "taking one for the team" going to be called out for the unsportsman like behaviour that it is? Diving is universally slagged off for being unfair on the opponent, Ward-Prowse completely took out Almiron with no attempt to play the ball. How is that fair on the opponent?

  15. Maybe I am just cranky but right now if someone came in with a 15 million pound offer for Gray I'd drive him to the airport myself. And I live in Australia.

  19. I’m in the gym smashing it right now Daz. I truly believe this place (the gym) is a godsend to me and it’s no surprise that because I’m the fittest and healthiest I’ve been in a long time, I’m in the best place mentally I’ve been in a long time too. There’s definitely something in this ‘healthy body, healthy mind’ malarkey

  21. Actually thought his work rate in the last couple of home short sub performances was markedly better, There was one time where he tracked back almost the entire length of the pitch and won the ball back. What I can't stand is the ridiculous booing when he comes on it, It was bad against Newcastle and completely undermines a player and any confidence he may or may not have. Whether he can make it here remains to be seen but let's at least all get behind the lad as long as he is putting on a Leicester shirt.

  22. Harvey Barnes is 18 months younger and nowhere near as far down the experience route that Gray was at the same age. Barnes tore up the Championship as has looked a threat here in his first taste of PL football.

  23. Well I see what he means and what I would do is firstly look at his overall time here and then also look at his stats and what he actually offers during a game. Gray has played 109 times in the premier league scoring a whopping 8 goals and having 6 assists. This Is a winger aswel. Gray is very greedy and could of had those assists upto atleast 35 -40 however he takes his route instead of going for a key pass. Let's put things into perspective. Youri Tielemans has played 10 games as a CM. 2 goals 4 assists. Barn

  25. In 30 years time when you ask someone to name a former player they associate with Leicester City it will not be Lineker, Banks or Shilton, it will be Jamie Vardy. He is now synonymous with Leicester City. An absolute global icon and a club legend. We’ll struggle to replace him when he retires. How much would a guaranteed 15-25 goals a season Premier League striker set you back these days?

  26. Jamie Vardy is Mr Leicester. To come from where he was to what he is now is truly a 'one off' i doubt it will ever be repeated. As a LCFC supporter he is a god, as an <insert other club> fan he is a total cvnt and you know that makes it even better.

  28. Got a new totally original, never been done before idea for a thread... "The many faces of Harvey Barnes"

  29. We can but hope. Vardy had a terrible first season, great second season and an inconsistent one before he went into beast mode the title winning season. Hopefully Rodgers can find the player in Nacho Man this summer.

  40. Word legend is thrown around like confetti these days, but Vardy is an absolute legend in the true sense of the word. Love the bloke and love that other teams hate him so much. We all know why.

  41. Im not sure why people keep saying we were lucky. We had more corners, more shots on target and slightly more possession. We werent great in the first half but after we equalised it looked like there would only be one winner and it wasn't them. Delighted for Barnes with his first goal and Vards for another goal. It wasnt a great performance but we were away from home against a decent side so overall its not a bad point.
