  1. People still spouting the 'Morgan isn't Prem quality' . I have absolutely no worries if Morgan has to fill in. Captain, Leader and a damn good defender.

  4. Hello Foxes! Aaron here, a writer from Próxima Jornada, a website specialising in Portuguese football and footballers. I recently conducted an interview with Ricardo Pereira at Leicester’s training complex. In the interview he speaks about Leicester, hopes for the season and what it’s like to work under Brendan Rodgers. Just thought I’d drop it in here in case it was of interest! The link is: https://proximajornada1.wordpress.com/2019/11/14/ricardo-pereira-the-interview/ Good luck for the rest of the season! - Aaron

  8. Comment was probably said in jest, but the "you have our title" annoys me. It's our title, it was never their title. The arrogance of that was one reason they didn't win it.

  9. crikey i had no idea kane was nearly 27. thought he was still about 23. he's fu cked. brilliant ahahaha. at least he's one of their own and he scored some pens against arsenal and cost them a shot at the champions league by playing when he was injured.

  12. Great to see the celtic fans trying their best to push the laughable propaganda that we are a new club, yet their obsession is as strong as ever. You cant liquidate a football team. Holding companies can change. Read up on your own Pacific Shelf. I imagine the Leicester team was full of youth. We played 4 first team players in Tav, Defoe, Ojo and Goldson. Seems the purpose of today was for fitness and scouts to view some fringe players like Doherty who scored. Good luck the rest of the season lads. You took centre stage in the greatest football story the world has ever

  21. I mean technically they may be a “new club” but I don’t like the view that a football club is simply the business side of things, a football club to me is the fans and the area and Glasgow Rangers still represent the same fans and same area.

  23. I think there is a lot narrative managing in this piece. Walsh can do no wrong; everything good was because of his suggestions, everything bad was because they ignored him. I enjoyed it, but with a pinch of salt.

  27. Genuine answer now I've had a think about it. It is the England narrative of him being world class. And as much as he's a good striker, Harry Kane is not world class. We've had Shearer, prime Owen and Rooney over the last 30 years and Kane honestly does not live up to any of them despite what the Spuds, England team and media want us to believe. He's a flat track bully who can't do it against the big teams whereas the other 3 I have mentioned have, and are winners. They have medals and trophies to back it up. Harry Kane has won the square root of **** all and the championing o

  28. One thing that I don't think has been mentioned too often (if it all) is that our 4141/433 is quite unorthodox in the sense that our striker plays so high and doesn't get involved in the build up. Usually in a 433 the striker drops deep in a situation like this but because of Vardy's positioning (and his pace) teams drop deeper to avoid the ball over the top. Subsequently though, it creates a huge amount of space in the midfield and that's where our most dangerous ball players are, Maddison and Tielemans with that amount of space are lethal because they've both got the ability to find a

  29. Those are the two issues that sum Everton up for me. Walsh was a success here because he was a crucial part of a team that started with a blank state (twice) and spent years, NOT money, building up a culture within the club that connects with the owners, staff and players. Everton brought him in as DOF expecting him to work miracles immediately. Here's £180m to play with Steve, do your thing. Oh, and we're not going to listen to you or trust your years of experience and track record of unearthing world class players. They simply don't have their house in order. If they

  31. Ditto. It's been mentioned in here previously, but she's so totalitarian in her thinking. She seemingly thinks that harsher punishment and taking us back 30/40 years in time in that respect will prevent/reduce all future crime, which time and time again in history and in other nations has proven to be nonsense. The other parties have many flaws, but I can't help but feel, from my somewhat biased position, that they at least look at the route cause of problems, rather than trying to clear up the aftermath time and time again. The same happens with the teaching crisis; rather than a

  33. But these are the types of players that Walsh brings you. Stands to reason that Everton would have rejected Mahrez and Kante for the same reason? Don't bring Walsh in if you want "big name", overpriced signings surely?

  37. GET BREXIT DONE is so ****ing nauseating already. Fast becoming Boris Johnsons only answer, the anthem to a race of knuckle dragging nobends and clearly already wearing thin on everyone else. Brexit is literally a dust particle of an issue in comparison to others, not to mention that this is a general election, and believe it or not, that involves things that are not brexit related. To continue down the road of 'the NHS is underfunded because we haven't got brexit done' and 'we can't fight climate change because we havn't got brexit done' is extremely disingenuous at best and frankly delusiona

  40. Genuine question. Why do people seem to take such joy in abusing Harry Kane and seeing him struggle, especially whilst playing for England? Comes across as a pretty decent guy, never really let England down, is a top striker and isn’t flash etc. I can understand club fans giving him a bit of stick because he always scores against your club for example, but he does get a lot of unwarranted stick. The whole speech impediment abuse is pretty out of order imo.

  42. Very long and exhausting day in town today, attending a workshop designed to help get people into the industry, tailored to the sort of thing that I really want to do (video editing). Met loads of lovely people in the same boat, as well as some great folks who provided some useful guidance and very much needed enthusiasm. Feeling kinda confident despite being knackered though. SO glad I went today. Here's to a better future! (stay off the rum)

  43. People going ridiculously and needlessly slow, well below the speed limit. Talking 15-20mph on 30mph roads, or 60mph on a motorway or dual carriageway, when the roads are clear. Or when on a country road and there's oncoming traffic, and they get shit scared so they break even though there's plenty of space for both lanes of traffic and a bit more either side.

Enjoys playing under Rodgers and spoke about the positive vibe at the club right now etc. Yes he does! I told him how many requests I get about Pereira content on the website and how he’s became a fan favourite! My twitter is @ProximaJornada1 if you’re interested in anything else I do on the subject of Portuguese football. He can see the rewards for his fine form too with the recent inter
