  1. Booooooing a Leicester City side who sit 2nd in the table after 22 games. You should be ****ing ashamed, it's truly pathetic. The club wouldn't miss these brainless cretins, an empty seat would be more welcome. Wankers

  2. Some perspective here. In out last 22 games we have only lost 4 , (or 5 in 29 games if you wanna include the defeat to man u away). Twice to Liverpool, once at home and once away, the away one we lost in last minute. Once to man city away. And one to Southampton at home. Surely every team has a bad game every now and then and more than 1 bad one in 22 games. We are still in a strong position with 16 league games to go. Semis of the league cup. And an fa cup tie lunchtime on a Saturday. If we get top 4 we would of had an amazing season. If we can add a cup or even a Wembley trip or 2 trips then

  4. Don't be silly As if giving them an apology would solve anything. The apology was on the pitch anyway I don't get what the uproar about it is. It's not as if Saints have turned up and then suddenly realised after seeing the video that they should seek revenge for what happened. Also worth noting that before every single game there's always a 'Last Time Out' video for previous results. Should we apologise to Man Utd for beating them 5-3 in 2015? Or to Newcastle next season for the 5-0 earlier this game?

  9. It happens all over the country, we’re not the only fans to let someone know when we’re not happy, if Ben wants to be a top level footballer he needs to develop a thick skin. He’s been poor/shocking for most of the season, and there becomes a point where his incompetence becomes intolerable. He’s no longer an 18 he’s old who’s just burst out of the academy, he has gained some experience and is consistently getting the basics of the game dead wrong. It’s okay to get on Teilemans back, but not Chilwells? Ben’s performances are simply not good enough, when you can’t make a simple pass,

  10. I get that people are unimpressed with his recent performances, but when has booing, jeering and ironically cheering ever, ever made a player play better or try harder?

  11. Heard ironic cheers in the FIRST HALF when he completed a pass. unbelievable. That'll help the lad get his confidence up.

  12. People used to call Big Nige boring yet he fights dogs, strangles players, calls journalists pricks and ostriches and tells his own fans to fvck off, then produces great results and brilliant photos like him hugging the monks and going mad at Burnley. Can anyone name anything remotely interesting Eddie Howe has said or done? This league needs Pearson, not Eddie fvcking Howe.

  13. Don't be daft, it's just a bad patch. He hasn't suddenly given up trying to win because the media wanted to sell clicks by linking him with arsenal.

  20. there were several passes he made yesterday I thought were the right ball only to look up and not see Barnes remotely close to where he should have been, the one that summed it up for me was after Kasper saved a ball out to the corner Chilwell played it right to where you would expect the winger to be but he'd sprinted to the half way line for some reason. Chilwell gets the blame for that but for me that's on Barnes. Chilwell had a poor game yesterday but no worse than many others and unlike Maddison, didn't appear to be shrinking or sulking like the latter once moved wide again.

  21. Confidence is low because this team got two complete footballing lessons by superior teams within the same week. Probably doesn't help that in the same 8 day period they threw away a 2 goal lead at Everton too (even if we did get through). Confidence was probably still high when we went to Man City but we were taken apart. When you're on a high after winning x games in a row, being second in the league, and being talked up by everyone it must be incredibly hard to have 2 games where you're completely outclassed and could get nothing going. It's gotta be something about it being a much harder l

  22. The problem with playing 2 up front (out and out strikers) is that you get them marked too easily. One of the main ways to counter a high press (that teams are learning to use against us) is to have the 10 drop into space near the centre circle whilst one of the central midfielders pushes up the pitch and wide. The central defender marking the 10 will almost certainly fail to come out that far leaving space for the 10 to receive the ball and turn, with the whole team then moving up the pitch as a unit. This, I feel, is why you're increasingly seeing an irate Soyuncu and Chilwell and Ricardo ar

  23. I'm pretty sure the video has nothing to do with how badly we played or how well they player. It's not like they would be like.... Oh yeah Leicester beat us 0-9 I forgot about that! Quite simply we just didn't play like we played before Xmas. We didn't press. We didn't win the 50-50s, gave the ball away very cheaply. Fundemental stuff really. Players can't lose their talent overnight. It's down to either coaching, confidence or attitude.

  25. I think the endless diving in football is killing it for me. In today's game there are so many free kicks it's getting tedious. Players really do go down at the slightest touch and it's ruining it for me. Take today's game at the KP, not a single bad tackle in the game and yet about 500 free kicks. The fact cheating is now considered normal and the fact players are often criticised for not cheating shows how used to it we've become.

  27. You sure like to whip yourself into a bit of a frenzy about this imaginary threat of the "woke left". It reminds me of a conversation I had with my father the other day, when he was talking about how ridiculous it is that people identify as 50+ different genders. So I asked him how many people he'd met that identify as one of these "strange" genders - the answer was of course, zero. And that sums it up really. There's a lot of, dare I say, "project fear" in the media about 'woke' people, and people love to share outrageous things they've read on twitter. But the reality of it is, h

  31. I usually find Man City boring to watch with their pissing about at the back, possession football, but Leicester, learn! This is how you attack a team who parks the bus, this is possession with purpose, moving forward with high intensity, relentless. Villa, this is what you get for being negative and parking the bus. Horrible team, horrible club, horrible fans.

  34. agreed sensationalist garbage. what a little cry baby George is. Even post 2016 I can think of loads of considerably worst performances. Bennoluane when we lost 6-1 to spurs, wasilewski away to porto in a 5-0 defeat, Mendy when we lost at home to southampton where he literally gave them 2 goals and got pulled off at half time(which was only last season). Wes Morgan when we got ripped apart by Bournemouth 4-2 and he capped his own horror show by getting sent off late on. I could go on and on. Young players form will fluctuate more than a 28 year olds that is a fact and

  36. I think this exactly proves my point. We live in a world where the President of the biggest country in the world can openly and shamelessly lie directly to the electorate on a daily basis, and have it called "alternate facts". We have our current Prime Minister who also is very liberal with the meaning of the word "truth", refuses to be interviewed, and who has reportedly banned his own ministers from going on the today program, tacitly stating that it's either favourable coverage or no coverage. We have media which in no way can be said to be disinterested,

  37. Good articles, @davieG, particularly the Mail one, surprisingly. Looks like he's on a media rebranding image to ensure his career stays on track this time & is not derailed by negative media stories. I hope he continues to make a success of things as, while not flawless, he clearly offers qualities that not many managers can offer....though maybe he needs to be in tandem with Shakey. The 2 Birch stories were amusing and quite moving, respectively. For anyone who can't be bothered to read the whole article, I liked this bit below. Clearly a man who l

  38. Agreed but his is what happens when you promote the game by hyping it up with light shows and fireworks, clappers and loud brain dead music. The game has been turned into a circus aided and abetted by VAR. That showing of our 9-0 beating of Southampton was in particularly poor taste by the club and was classless. If you whip stupid people up before a ball is kicked, then those same stupid people will be the first to boo and feel entitled too because they feel cheated. I'm fast losing my love for the game, it's not the one I've loved and followed for most of my life. I hope it will change but

  40. Who said I was satisfied with losing?! Was it 20 times? Seems excessive. All I'm saying is that everyone wants to go forward 100% of the time and that isn't always possible? Fans need to understand this. Is it better to keep the ball and work a good move to potentially turn in to a decent attack or is it better to cross in to a striker surrounded by 3 or 4 defenders and is unlikely to get on the end of it? Chilwell was poor yesterday don't get me wrong. But it's no reason to boo him or ironically cheer him when he got the ball yesterday ffs. Just because

  41. I seriously wonder if our fans even watch the matches sometimes. Praet was the only one putting any pressure on the ball for much of the game - even Choudhury wasn’t pressing much.

In each case, the perpetrator attempted to ram a bouquet of flowers up the victim's rectum. The judge described it as a "fragrant violation of international Norms".

  44. I think the Villa game crushed his already low confidence. He shouldn’t have started today. The crowds reaction to him though was embarrassing. He’s an academy product who is now England’s first choice left back. He’s improved considerably over the years, but he’s going through a rough patch. Support him, don’t crucify him.

  45. Abroad you get fans going quite extreme with their criticism, they will go to the clubs training ground and confront players for their performances if they're dire. On the flip side, they will more often than not offer consistent vocal support in the ground. It's a two way thing. With us at the minute we're quiet when we're winning and when we're losing we pipe up just to boo and criticise it's one embarrassment of a scenario.

  46. If Maddison wants to go United and Chilwell wants to go to Chelsea/Man City then it’s time to start planning for their departures in the summer. Tell them both if we get Champions League football then they can leave in the summer with good lucks for the future. We need to start building a football club that is regularly going to be challenging for the Top 4. People can say it’s not realistic but Man City were nothing 20 years ago. The model needs to be building a football club that is attractive to young talent and always being ready to replace them. Becoming an English Borussia Dortm
