  1. Not being a football fan, this is probably in the wrong place but could someone post it for me 😁 My dad 83 has been to Leicester football since he was 10 years old, a season ticket holder for as long as i remember and like all your fans has missed it. He recieved through the post a flag and a clapper thingy ready for the match which made his day.... such little things mean so much, so from both myself and my dad, who doesn't do technology A Massive Thankyou for caring 🥰🥰🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😘

  3. When I see comments like this I stop reading and your point is lost. If any player we have now is the most limited player you have ever witnessed, you haven’t been watching us very long. Please let me know if you’d like a list of more limited footballers.

  4. I must admit, in general for years now we’ve looked our best when we just go for it. I think we’ve been burnt a few times against the top top teams when we’ve been naive and it’s created a safety first mindset in most of our recent managers. We need a bit more swagger against most teams. We are Leicester, we can fvcking beat you. I don’t think many of us would mind if we went all out but lost? X

  7. Hands up all those that predicted top four for Leicester this season. Might go to the wire but stick with the manager and players.

  8. Yes, the system that awards teams points for wins and draws is one of the world's great unsolved mysteries.

  9. This is pretty cool. You could pay £7 to upload a photo used to create a fan mosaic at Molineux for the four final home games (you got a collectors edition restart programme as well). They've used them to make huge pictures of the players in the 'South Bank' Stand.

  10. It's quite obviously been a good season and any criticism kind of feels like a victim of our success kind of thing, but in truth we've been on a quite obvious downwards trajectory all year and we seem to do this under every single manager after an initial burst - we're the streakiest bloody side in this league and have been ever since the day we entered it. I can kind of forgive the fans' extreme reactions when we consistently deliver the extremes on the pitch. We're just a really bland side to watch and we have been for a while. I can't really put my finger on what it is other tha

  11. Not really, because winning the FA Cup gets that on it's own. Failure to finish 4th this season would be massively disappointing.

  12. That's on Brendan. To set up like that is one thing but to not touch a single sub until the 70th minute when we have five to use is bordering on criminal.

  13. Kasper Justin Evans Soyuncu Chilwell Ndidi Tielemans Praet Barnes Perez Vardy Not sure wholesale changes are needed. We need to put a strong team out, and we also need a win. Regardless of how or where it comes from. Winning breeds confidence. We are much better when Tielemans starts. That’s proven.

  17. Who would’ve thought you would feel worse once the football starts after 3 months of lockdown

  18. True. But without this thread I wouldn't have learned that Mendy is League 1 standard, or that playing both Messi and Ronaldo last night wouldn't have made a difference, but playing Tielemans would have. And this all from the same guy. Legend.

  20. Maybe, just maybe, we're actually a team good enough for the 6th-10th positions yet we have had spells of overachieving and underachieving this season. If we finished 10th or above for the next decade, and chuck in a cup or two, it wouldn't be the worst for a club our size. Yes we have ambitions to be better (of course yesterday we stank) and yes Rodgers has got some stuff wrong which needs addressing (two DMs home to Brighton was worryingly Puel-esque) but let's not lose sight too much of our current club size, where we've come from in a decade or so and that with a lot of young pla

  21. I think the problem is that we are stuck between a smaller team and bigger team mentality. Make no mistake, apart from winning the league this is one of the most successful seasons in the history of our club but we’ve lost our way slightly which is a shame. I still have full faith in Brendan and the players and let’s not also forget these are very, very strange times. We need to just be more ruthless, more adventurous and more confident on our own abilities. I’m hoping this season is a learning curve for our young squad and we come back stronger and better next year. I know people li

  23. I think this game could actually be make or break for our season. Win it and we are in the semis. The lift and buzz that would create around the club could be the catalyst that triggers the self belief and we suddenly start to look like the third best team in the league again. Get mauled by Chelsea and confidence could drop even further than it looks at the minute. Whatever the result we must put in a performance or it could cause irreparable damage to our season.

  26. @Mark Any chance of bringing back the manager match rating - perhaps for next season - if it's not too much hassle? In addition to the "stay/go" question, I mean - not instead of it. Only being able to rate the manager "Stay/Go" is a bit of a blunt tool, I find. I certainly don't want Brendan to go as we've made excellent progress under his leadership, but it would be good to be able to rate the manager's performance in each match....high in many matches, low last night! Last night, apart from Kasper and the centre backs, I rated most players at 5

  27. Arsenal are looking not just skint but rotten. Arteta is supposed to reset the culture. OK, keeping your most-expensive player on (or off) the bench is costly … but fair enough if you need to set examples. So follow that up by giving David Luiz another year to “lead” as one of your dressing room lieutenants? He sets the example by coming off the bench mentally and physically unready to play, single-handedly losing a match against a mediocre team. He’s the longest-running joke on social media for your young players to absorb. Rewarding that does “build culture”, but

  28. I think you're missing the point, no one is disputing how great of a position we are in. It's more that we aren't creating anything to KEEP us there. IF you look at our form over the last 17 games it is horrendous.

  30. Our midfield has to be Ndidi, Maddison and Tielemans (with Praet rotating in as needed), we know as a fanbase that an Ndidi-Mendy midfield just doesn't work. I've nothing against Mendy, but he doesn't suit one of the free 8 positions. We seem desperate for a striker that can come deep and link up play as well. The space between our midfielders and striker is so significant.

  32. Now I don’t usually start threads, but after watching that shambles I think I need to. Now the famous cliche ‘At least we’re creating chances so the goals will come, Id be more worried if we wernt creating’. and there goes why I’m very very worried now. We can all have our opinions on Maddison rolling around, or Vardy today? Did he do anything? Barnes Gray albrighton Perez etc etc. All will have opinions on who should start. However what is clear is that, anyone watching our performances for a long tine now will see, we are actually not ‘off form’ not ‘unfit’

  33. This, ****ing this! Exactly. Brendan didn’t go into the game thinking we’d shut up shop and get a point. He played 2 CDM’s to get the best out of four attacking players. He knew a win yesterday would’ve taken a huge amount of pressure off but he also knew he can’t keep the same starting 11 for the next three games. We’ve been off for 100 days and have 3 games a week from now till the end. By playing Ndidi and Mendy, it was hoped it would free up the full backs and take away the defensive responsibilities of kelechi and gray. The problem was we didn’t move the ball fast enough to ge

  39. Kasper Bennett Morgan Soyuncu Albrighton Ndidi Tielemans Fuchs Praet Perez Iheanacho Hear me out...! This is a tough side to break down, gets important fringe players vital match fitness, tests a new formation with a large number of first teamers experiencing it, whilst allowing some potential game changers - Barnes, Vardy...(that's about it) to join in nearer the end.

  41. This guy's massive stiffie for Tielemans makes me feel a bit better about my soft spot for Iheanacho... Tielemans is great but he's not close to the best player in our squad. In no particular order, Ndidi, Ricardo, Vardy, Evans, Maddison and Soyuncu have all been better than him this season

  42. I would take an FA cup win and no European qualification, I know that's not possible, but to win the FA cup for the first time in our 136 year history would be special, even with no fans present! All our local rivals have won the FA cup, albeit not within the last 30 years, but their clubs are still on the base of the trophy. Despite the lack of appreciation the FA cup is given in the modern era, it is still dominated by the big clubs and for clubs like ours it is still the holy grail. As someone once said there isn't a trophy for finishing in the top 4 and
