  1. He's 19 and played 1 match. Why don't we give him a chance to develop before we expect him to be a top 6 premier league player.

  2. That's the problem with modern football, everything is about money. I don't know when the 'big 6' armchair fan bollocks about not wanting to be in the Europa League started, but I'm not having it- there are plenty of serious away days in there and that's what it's always primarily about as a football fan. If that's where we end up, so be it- hopefully we get to travel because it would be an amazing experience and we would have an excellent chance of seeing European knockout football after Christmas again.

  4. You'd rather finish top 4 than win the Europa League? Are you mad. It's genuine silverware that gets added to our history and trophy cabinet. I don't know why big club armchair fans, and Spurs fans, get mocked on here when people come out with stuff like this.

That inversion of roles carries with it a perverse charm, like a prolific actor making their directorial debut, or a superhero helping their long-suffering sidekick save the day instead. You can’t help but watch. It challenges perceptions and self-imposed boundaries. The very pr

  8. In a way its actually a pretty patronising article that ironically doesn't give Vardy enough credit. Because he's actually always played creator. One of Vardy's top five defining traits is his ability to get his head up and put the team first. Unlike Kane or Salah, he'll always play a pass ahead of taking a low percentage shot on himself, regardless of what's at stake. Remember when he gave up a chance at the all time English top flight pre Premier League record when he set up Mahrez for a hattrick at Swansea? Didn't he have a similar performance away at

  9. Nigel Pearson was such a massive part of our rebirth and success and he didn't leave us to advance his career. Claudio Ranieri isn't ever coming back to manage us again. If Brendan Rodgers left us, you can bet that there would be a sizeable clamour in here for Nigel Pearson to come back for a 3rd time. He's not just any old ex-manager. He's THE ex manager. Keeping Watford up, keeping yet another club up, given the position they were in, would be another fantastic achievement for Pearson. Despite Deeney's amazing goal against us (which many would say pro

  11. The wife has been doing that 'Couch to 5K' thing recently and today, out of the blue, she asked if I'd like to go for a run with her I agreed for a laugh and off we plodded. She took the lead while I jogged behind and I found my eyes fixating on her fat, bulging ass, doing it's best to be held in place by her M&S bucket bracks. My mind wandered back 25 years, pre kids, to that peachy, pert, firm little ass that she used to own, which now looks more like a sack of coal. Tbf she just about managed to do 5km but at the end she looked like a dripping hog roast as the s

  12. You can't prove a negative (that God doesn't exist), just as you can't disprove that the universe wasn't created by some highly advanced toddler with a computer and sim type game. The responsibility is with those making the claim to pony up the proof, i.e. you. Science only claim things when they have enough evidence to do so with a high enough percentage to factor in errors in the gathering of evidence. There is no belief in science, just ideas and experiment. I wish the same could be said of religion. There is no experiment that can be concocted to assess religious claims.

  13. How are Leicester fans turning up their nose at the Europa League let alone winning it? The fixture congestion thing is a myth - it's one more game than the Champions League. One.

  14. Extremely sinister. Add that to the fact the USA seized 14 tonnes of Uighur hair the other week. The general apathy here is really weird. The outrage over Boris' Burka comments (despite being against a ban) went on for ****ing weeks. A month after Charlie Hebdo 10,000 Muslims marched in London and handed over a 100,000 signed petition complaining about the right of a French publication to offend British Muslims. And yet... There's >1m Uighurs being put into actual concentration camps by China and there doesn't seem to be any interest in it whatsoever?!?!? Weird/

  16. Dyche especially tbh. The sooner people realise that Burnley play the way they do because its all Dyche can do, not because it's all you can do on their budget, the better.

  17. www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/leicester-city-need-change-luke-4340166.amp Good article. Obviously the author has read through some of the comments on FT. All agreed, except the jury is still out re his point re Tielemans and Maddison - but certainly I agree that Maddison seems more at home in front as his quick feet is better served there while him playing deeper (no disrepect) slows things down too much as he has a tendency to dance around and waste precious seconds or pick the wrong pass whereas Tielemans is just a better midfield orchestrato

  21. Also I would add that yesterday’s game is further proof that the problem for him from January to recently was not just a lack of supply. He looked sluggish, his touch was poor, the chances he was getting he wasn’t taking. None of that makes him a poor player, he was just in poor form. It happens. Vardy’s been through at least 4 prior prolonged spells of poor form since he’s been here and each time he’s bounced back.

  23. Some people on here have more questionable views than Alan Smith. Thomas played well on debut. But some people are so over the top about it. He is a developing player. Most of our squad have been hammered on this forum. Generally this is because people over-react. I hope Thomas builds on a great debut but he is a long way off our two more experienced left backs.

  27. Again, a consensus on what might have happened isn't a fact. We all agree that the dinosaurs were wiped out by an asteroid strike because that is what the vast majority of evidence suggests. It's still not an absolute fact but it's as close as we're probably going to get. I'm yet to hear of any one tiny piece evidence in human history that anybody came back to life after being dead for days.

  29. There's lots of evidence: 1. The universe had a beginning (the big bang) which created space and time thus the cause of the big bang is devoid of space and time. Seen as abstract things like numbers don't cause anything, a transcendent mind is all that can follow logically. 2. The universe is finely tuned to allow for life. The mathematics involved here are absurd to the point that the only theory that contains any weight is the multiverse theory, which has zero evidence. 3. Objective moral values and duties are baseless without a moral law giver. To deny God is to deny

  31. You're being incredibly negative here. Chilwell isn't the best left back in the league, but he's far more than just athletic. He is a good defender, and regularly wins aerial battles. The times he is caught out is usually when he's left to try and defend against more than one attacker, because he has little cover. Whereas Ricardo is somehow able to take on several players at once - part of why he is arguably world class - this is not Chilly's strength. That and he sometimes hesitates before making a pass. Last summer he identified his athleticism needed impr

  33. I can see your point. But also I just think we have to be realistic that we should embrace opportunities as they come. The country is full of clubs following a “maybe tomorrow, Jack” approach trying to build up their squads for a brilliant season in the future that never comes. Ultimately in football, there are few guarantees - managers move on, players get a big move, etc. Best laid plans don’t always come off. Ultimately - of course CL qualification is better, but is it’s the Europa then let’s not turn up noses up at it either.

  34. Don’t get suckered into this Sky Sports, PL is the be all and end all bollocks. The thought of more away days on the continent is class. I really hope we make the Champions League but now that it’s sunk in that Leicester will play in Europe again, I cannot wait. Whether it’s Munich or Vienna, it’ll be class.

  35. I don’t think it’s a case of being pissed off, it’s more it’s meaning has now been lost and it seems like going through the motions for the look, rather than a meaningful protest. Now it’s time to move past symbolisms and work on some actual actions.

  36. I'd much rather live in a world of overly positive people - folk who want to share good vibes - than a world where misery is promoted. Mood hoovers. Life suckers. Negative Nellies. Energy vampires. I'm "overly positive" in life generally. I'm grateful for what I have rather than bitter about what I don't have or if others have better things than me. Nobody gives a shiit if you complain anyway, we're not here for a long time so might as well enjoy things while we can. And often it's the 'small victories' in life which give me the mos

  43. I think he has shown football up to be honest. Everyone talks about tactics / formations / style of play. Sheffield United have a very solid 352 but Wilder insists that everything starts with hard work. Nowadays coaches get lost thinking about their coaching philosophy and having to play exactly that way. Sheffield United and Wilder have been brilliant this season.
