  1. If Albrighton is fit he can have Bennett’s spot. Justin moves to right sided centre back in the 3-4-3.

  3. The pressure is on MUFC. Missing out on the CL would be huge for them. Fifth would be (generally speaking) amazing for us. It's a free hit in many ways. Important to stay in the game as long as possible. Let's see if this extraordinary season has one last sprinkle of magic left.

  4. The wife and I are currently house hunting in South Yorkshire as i bagged myself a job in Doncaster last week. My jaw almost hit the floor when i realised how much cheaper houses are up there than in Leicester. We looked at a 4 bed end of terrace house on a fairly new estate (under 10 years old) in Wombwell, Barnsley, that was on the market for £140k. A practically identical one on the Chestnuts estate in Syston where we currently live was sold a few months ago for nearly £280k! I was worried what we would be able to afford on just my salary, because my wife hasn't bee

  8. Chatting to united supporting mate (who'd have thought a Man United fan in Leicester......) The onus is kinda more on United than it is us. We need to go into the game and win, it's the only way to guarantee top 4 for us. I'm kinda glad we're not the ones who need the draw. Rodgers has history of getting it tactically wrong in such games, most famously Liverpool V Chelsea and the Gerrard slip. He set up completely wrong for that game and was happy to not lose, it went completely wrong and Liverpools collapse went down in history. He's done the same with us too, t

  16. I just dislike everyone really. It's Leicester and nothing else really. I really hated Forest years and years ago but I've got more respect for Forest, Derby and Cov fans that actually go, than the bellends in Liverpool and Utd shirts that gob off in the pub and come out with the 'I can't ever get a ticket' bollox. The elite clubs fans don't really know what a shit period in their history is. Leeds fans have been through loads of shit, so although I don't like them, they've done some proper hard years and deserve their promotion imo👍

  17. I confess I don't quite get the mindset here. Hating on a longtime rival is natural, obviously. But shouldn't a fan relish the idea of playing a derby against that rival twice a year in the top division?

  18. Simply put, I don't think we can afford to loan out Thomas. Fuchs and Chilwell are likely to be out until a decent bit into pre-season, and you don't want to be rushing either of them back. Especially with the heel injury of Chilwell, you don't want to rush and potentially worsen that. With Ricardo out too, JJ will be covering RB, so loaning out Thomas isn't an option for me.

  20. You don't like him that's fine, I do, so we'll never find middle ground and you won't with anyone else who likes him because you'll undermine all his achievements and double down on all his failures. I love the guy but I can see where he's clearly made bad decisions in his career, managerial and otherwise, but I can also see that he is an absolute God for Leicester City because he dragged us out of league one and set us up for our greatest ever achievement. Do I think Pearson would have won the Premier league with us? 99% not, would we have won the Premier league without him being our previous

  21. Not really fair to say. He’s had one full season and we finished 14th which was a success at the time. Watford were well adrift when he took over and he was sacked with them out of the relegation zone, which given his remit can be loosely attributed as a success. Personally, I think mid table Premier League is probably his ceiling but it’s disingenuous to say he struggles because he’s not really managed in it much and when he has he’s done well

  22. That would make sense if there wasn't still hundreds dying and dire warnings of a second peak in winter. Just because we've dropped the ball yesterday doesn't mean we can't pick it back up ready for tomorrow.

  24. You have to remember, that apart from close proximity, local rivalries often ebb and flow over the years. Most City fans living out Hinckley way see Cov as rivals, whilst those living out Ashby way see Derby as rivals. Those living out Stamford way don't see Peterborough as rivals as such, but they still don't want to lose to lose to them. For most of the rest of us, Forest has always been the number one enemy. Enough has already been said about that filth; I don't need to add anything more. But rivalries change over the years. In the 1960's, Le

  25. The very public linking of LCFC and the Government of Thailand yesterday for me signifies our arrival as a super club , the Government of Thailand has rubber stamped our importance to their plans for global reach, In doing so I believe they have created an unbreakable bond between the nation of Thailand and our club, for me this Announcement is possibly among the top 5 pivotal moments in this clubs history. Once an EPL club forms a partnership with the rulers of a foreign state we have typically seen those clubs achieve great stability and security beyond their means, Super Clubs , w

  27. It's the best part of 20 years ago when I was prescribed Fluoxetine at a low dosage after years of depression and anxiety and it helped me enormously. This coincided with some counseling, so whilst it's hard to say which helped most, I think the reality is that it was the combination that was successful. The thing about that particular medication for me was that its effects were quite subtle - you don't take a pill and wake up feeling brilliant the next day; it's more like it gradually lifts your mood over time, making it progressively easier to do the stuff you need to do to sort yourself out

  28. I only took antidepressants for a short period but found them beneficial. When I was diagnosed with depression my GP told me that this had caused physiological changes, basically my body wasn't producing the right chemicals as a result, this was preventing me feeling happy when I should have been. This was a vicious circle which was making me more depressed and this downward cycle had to be broken. Antidepressants were the way to do this. After taking them for a few days I started to feel better, not happy just more normal, and within a couple of weeks I was almost back to my old self. I

  29. Except Jiménez has played more minutes for less goals in both of the last two seasons. Vardy is 8th for minutes played, Jimenéz 3rd this season. Vardy has 6 more goals. It honestly astounds me how underrated Vardy is, even among our own supporters.

  31. A band having a good name is of course no guarantee that the act itself will deliver on any level, but when I first heard mention of British Sea Power in the music press I really hoped that they wouldn’t disappoint. Being old enough to have grown up when Airfix kits of World War II fighter planes were still very much a thing, and comics like Victor and Warlord somewhat bizarrely recounted exciting tales of daring from a war that had ended more than 3 decades previously to under twelves, the name struck a chord with me. Although I read a few encouraging if confused reviews I hadn’t

  32. If indeed Watford have had top half table form since Pearson took over, a huge part of that would have been your standard new manager bounce. Once those 5/6 games were over they weren't much kop at all and whether Pearson had been sacked or not would go into the final game highly likely to go down. Hes quite obviously struggled in both his Prem stints. Simpson certainly was scouted by Pearsons team... the season before! and after a dozen or so games was dumped back out of the side. Definitely not a Pearson favourite so quite likely hed loyally stick with one of his old faves de lae

  33. cobblers. in the first few games of the title winning season we leaked goals like a sieve. Ranieri identified the problem and rectified it, if he hadn't we would not have won the title. Sure he had a good base to build from, he didn't start from scratch but neither did he inherit a title winning team all nicely wrapped from Pearson. Retrospectively rewriting history to make nige look good 4 years later is very irritating. Pearson is a very good EFL manager and struggles in the prem.

Can anyone who has previous with SSRI’s and other anti depressants please let me know what the real short term and long term benefits and cons are, and if it’s better to go down the medication route or the therapy route? I have struggled with anxiety, mainly social anxiety when there’s large groups of people or I’m out by myself in public, and low mood for the last couple of years, but it’s only tomorrow I’m having a telephone consultation for the first time with my GP to try and start to resolve my problems. I also have anger issues and a mild dependency on daily cannabis u

  40. For those who are not keen on wearing masks, think about it this way perhaps - you wear a seat belt incase you get into an accident. They are uncomfortable but you do it just incase because you know that in the event of an accident they could help protect you. Same with masks, you wear them to help protect you but also you wear them to help protect others. It's not a fail safe but there is a strong chance that if you run into a carrier of the virus it will help protect you and if you happen to be a "non symptomatic" carrier than you'll help protect others. They are bloody awful to wear but jus
