  3. Is there any other football forum that has a cleaner looking UI than ours? Every single other fan football forum I occasionally browse looks like utter horse shit.

  4. King, Simpson, Silva and Slimani are all training with the U23s. PS. My nephew, a GK in the U11 academy, met King and Simpson at the training ground over the weekend. They were amazing with the kids (who were all understandably buzzing meeting football heroes) and Simpson even followed my nephew on Instagram (but don't ask me why an 11yo has Insta!!) I text both players to thank them and they replied how nice and respectful all the kids were. Doesn't take much to do these things but not all in football do. King and Simpson are genuine blokes and respect to them

  5. Loving the new FT tweaks. Now we dont have to scroll through endless laborious essays of rubbish and screen shots the length of a loo roll.

  6. James Richardson wrapped up the City vs Manchester Sky Blues section on Monday's Totally Football Show by saying "Well there you go, Leicester... You've had your biggest win in ages, but you made the mistake of doing it against a big-six side, so we talked about them instead." Refreshing honesty for a change.

  8. Still find it mind-boggling that we're considered in the top 20 clubs globally. Feels like only yesterday that we were duking it out with the likes of Colchester and Walsall in League One, and now we're nestled in between Juventus and Napoli. Bonkers.

  13. "However, what is for sure is that City will be in pot one, two or three. This would rule out meetings with Sivasspor, Wolfsberg and Omonia." The Mercury have zero idea how pots work. We can't be in pot one or pot four, which very much rules IN meetings with Sivasspor, Wolfsberger (NOT Wolfsberg as the articles says, that's a different team) and Omonia. Incredibly bad journalism.

  18. I imagine Kingy might feel a little embarrassed to be training back with us after everyone gave him such an emotional send off. It's a bit like your ex booting you out then shacking up with a new bloke but letting you use the spare room cos your homeless while you can hear them shagging in the next room.

  19. Richarlison and Allan both apparently badly injured for Everton tonight. All the more reason to be relatively accepting of the fact we're not in this competition any more given the fixture congestion it caused and the consequent injuries we've avoided...

  20. On Sunday 27th September, Leicester City travelled to the Etihad to play Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, a manager Rodgers had never beaten in his management tenure thus far. Both teams went into the game with several injuries, but I think it’s safe to say that no one saw the eye-opening result of 5-2 to the Foxes taking place. So how did Rodgers best one of the best coaches in world football so convincingly? I’m going to try and break that down for FoxesTalk today. Introduction To start things off, let’s take a look back at the last 3 fixtures between the two clubs.

  27. Will Alves is the son of an old friend of mine. He's got amazing skills. He won a national MOTD football skills competition a while back too. I really hope he comes through to the first team. I think he has all the potential to do just that. I'd also be delighted for his dad who is wonderfully supportive dad and top bloke.

  29. I've wanted it for years, don't know what it is but something about playing away there seems pretty special to me, if we actually land that draw the year we can't go I'll be beyond gutted. I think the only thing I'm OK with here is that we probably will get back into Europe again fairly soon. I just hope common sense eventually triumphs.

  31. Vardy, Drinkwater, Maguire, Chilwell, Gray, Maddison & Barnes all called into the Senior squad since our return to the Prem. Really highlights how far we’ve progressed as a club and why players are desperate to join us!

  38. I doubt Fofana going to walk into the first team with a fully fit squad Evans and Cags will be the first choice. Fofana will play lots of games given injuries, Europe League and the FA Cup This is a step up for him in terms of qualitee and intensitee (thanks Claude) and needs to be managed sensitiveleeeeee

  39. Here is an angle from 50/ 60 yr olds here in Spain. Every Monday I play with ex-pats from all over the country - nearly all of us supporting different teams. After our match yesterday enjoying a coffee and tostada JV got brought up. To a man the consensus was “can’t stand him - would love if he played for us”. Other teams’ supporters can give no more praise than this. For me he is the absolute epitome of passion, talent and hunger that any supporter wants to see. Loyal too and I love him for that

  40. Having watched the game again, Justin played a really important role in the second, third and fourth goals. Second goal: chased across to close Ake down, but then stayed up and dragged Ake across a bit to give tielemans a chance to pass to castagne Third: great challenge on mahrez, but then took the ball upfield. He carried on his run and pulled Walker out of position to allow Barnes to pass to Vardy. Fourth: was actually ahead of Maddison and took a defender away that helped create space for Maddison. Great effort!
