Swear to God that half the spoilt kids on here would say throw this sh*tty competition, but if we got knocked out early, the same people would be calling for the managers head12 points

Grealish has and always had been a better player. He makes things happen. Maddison is a good player but over rated. He’s nowhere near the levels of Grealish.10 points

These melt downs when we lose are funny. We will lose games this season - accept it and move on.10 points

It’s alright lads I have a better analogy that will sink in. Same reason you have a wànk and poke your bum at the same time because it’s doubly effective.9 points

Anyone could see three centre backs at home to West Ham wouldn't work, and it took an injury to Amartey in the second half to change it up. Last two home games required half time subs.8 points

I've tried to be quite civil in my debates during this pandemic, and I also appreciate the need to remain sceptical of any knee-jerk measures being brought in. But this is one of the stupidest posts I have seen about the whole situation on any social media. It's like asking why we wear a hat and scarf when it's cold? The two things work together. There's evidence that suggests social distancing and mask wearing may reduce the viral load meaning the individual catches a milder form. I mean you could question the measures if you want, but asking why people do two things in combinati8 points

We all loved him at first due to the fact he came through the academy, and he ran around flying into tackles...... The facts are, that tenacity was all he had, and it soon became apparent that he was a walking red card. He got called out on it by managers, and other players, got a couple of reds, and therefore we reined him in, which then highlighted his lack of footballing brain, and technical ability. Without that tenacity and hard tackling, there isn’t much left in him. He just isn’t good enough for Premier League football. It’s a shame, becau8 points

Awful shitshow of a sport at the minute. Massively losing interest, especially when you wait 2 weeks because of appalling, unnecessary international breaks and then the excitement ends in watching a game where you're not sure if they've ever even kicked a ball before.8 points

What an entitled bunch of whiners we have become... Since Nigel Pearson left little over 5 years ago, we’ve had 4 managers all of which have had supporters calling for their heads as soon as we get a couple of bad results. in that time we’ve won the league, made the QF of the Champions League, made it to the Europa League and finished every season in the top 10 of the Premier League. I honestly don’t know what some of you would have done if you were around under Pleat, Kelly, Levine, Sousa, Megson, Holloway... the list goes on We have it now as good as we’ve ever had it ! ... What do you mean by work? They aren't a miracle piece of cloth. They help, that is all. Like certain restrictions help. Just because they don't miraculously make this crap go away doesn't mean we shouldn't use them.7 points

The difference is that Grealish would die for Aston Villa alaways gives 110%, don't think Maddison would does that for Leicester7 points

I think he will be. I am as frustrated as the next fan with our inconsistency on the back of an unbelievable first 10 months in charge here but there are reasons for this thst aren't solely Rodgers failings. The injuries have played a part, we need to identify what is behind this. Is it just bad luck or is there a trend where we are getting injuries that as a club we worked so hard to prevent under previous regimes. What were Rodgers injury records like at Swansea, Liverpool and Celtic? I think its a mix of the intensity of training and how peculiar this last 6-8 month7 points

No, not just the team this time I’ve always disliked watching football on TV much preferring to be there but I’m now struggling to be bothered even with our games. I’ve regressed to being satisfied with the radio on. Bitter at the PPV money grabbing. Happy with MOTD highlights. Anyone else or just me6 points

You've come up with some bizarre analogy about a person you know f*** all about. He's one of the most active players on social media regarding us, especially when he was injured he was completely immersed in the games and you saw after Man United how gutted he was we lost. I don't doubt that the guy is ambitious and wants to play at the top, but this is just silly.6 points

Its the strongest squad I've ever seen at leicester. We just don't have the ability to stock pile players like Chelsea, spurs or man utd. If Liverpool lost van dijk, Salah, firmino and Alexander Arnold with an unfit thiago and Keita, and an injured matip they'd struggle as well. Squad depth is at best the ability to switch 2/3/4 players selectively out at a time - at full strength we can do thay but the reality with as many injuries as we have itll be tough and every side in the world would feel that. Don't get me wrong we still need 2/3 players as morgan an6 points

Does anybody feel wins are less good and defeats less bad when your not at games I cant dsecribe it, it just misses something, the drama, the atmosphere feels like the season stopped in march and we have played this surreal never ending echo library version of football since. it is obviously football but just feels so sterile so lifeless, I dont know, its not enjoyable.6 points

Best Championship season: Maddison: 14 goals 8 Assists Grealish: 6 Goals 7 Assists Best Premier League Season Maddison: 7 Goals 7 Assists Grealish: 8 Goals 6 Assists Sorry but come on, was it not Maddison who created one of the highest amounts of chances in Europe? They both make things happen and are both good players. Grealish is a very good player and perhaps a more rounded player, with more all around game involvement, but he's also older and been playing football in the first team for a lot longer.5 points

It hurts to say, but right now Grealish is looking a cut above any ceiling I can see for Maddison Last few times I've seen him he's done that the elite player thing of seeing shit loads of the ball but making the right choice every time, and making it look almost impossible to prevent him doing it. He's a bit good.5 points

I don't think he is. I think he is more suited in a 2 as the more withdrawn of the 2, we are so blinkered because we are use to Super Vardy preventing any need for creative thinking. Nacho in a 2 could be epic as he would drop deeper, link midfield, he is creative, and provide to another forward.5 points

I'm more bothered about Europe than the Premier League this season. Go full strength and try and win the ****er. Why throw it away just so we can concentrate on trying to get into Europe again?5 points

Realistically this season is a dud. Even before we'd been decimated by injuries a month in we were looking pretty thin on the ground. There's no way we're no mounting any kind of challenge for anything significant in the league. We just need to somehow drag ourselves out of our EL group and hope we can get some semblance of a first choice XI going into the knockouts. If that happens I'd be totally fine with basically throwing league games to make sure we are as strong as possible in Europe. There's no way we're back there again next season so we may as well give it a proper go.5 points

I think a lot of Leicester fans calling for his return had forgotten how bloody awful he is to be honest.5 points

Our league form since Christmas Day: W 9 D 5 L 11 25 games, 32 points from a possible 75. Granted we’ve been unlucky with injuries, but we were in a slump long before the injury crisis/lockdown last season. Puels league form in his last 25 league games: W 8 D 5 L 12 29 points from a possible 75.5 points

It's not the same for sure, but all these Sunday evenings kick-offs are worst. On Saturday afternoon it can either set up the rest of your weekend with a good performance or you can get it out your system by Saturday night. Sunday evening it's just left to stew and you can't enjoy it really as you've got to get up for work the next day. Have we played on a Saturday yet this season? It's Sunday evening yet again next weekend as well5 points

Take the hype of Biesla and the story of the mighty Leeds being promoted out of the equation, that is a seriously average squad that is punching above its weight early on due to the intense press from minute one.... Let's see how thats working for them come Feb time.4 points

Don't know about the stats or 2nd best played, but he was clearly better than Tielemans, Barnes or Iheanacho. He's not had the best start to a season, but last night was certainly a weird night to scapegoat him on, because there were much worse performances from our other attacking/creative players.4 points

Ffs! Can’t we just get behind the manager and the team. Last season is last season. We’ve won three PL games and lost two.One we didn’t deserve to lose. And still 4th in the league.None of the top six have been anything to shout about! We’ve now got a depleted squad which is going to make BR job a lot harder. If Kingpower hadn’t taken such a hit due to Covid,Top might have spent a few more million. I think a few people on this thread are bit deluded! just think back to when we were really shit!!!!4 points

Because the club would know they are short term injuries. It's no different to people crowing about signing a backup for Ndidi because he got injured. You don't sign replacement players for short term injuries, there is also no point in keeping an annoyed player at the club, one who needs games, to cover for an injury that perhaps lasts a few days or a week or two.4 points

He clearly couldn't be arsed when he came on, you could see that from his body language a mile off. The dopey bugger was defending from behind the play, I couldn't understand why he wasn't getting goal side. Completely switched off for their goal, head in the clouds and he knew he'd fvcked up. The loss is on Rodgers though. Gave up and played for the draw bringing sideshow on for Mendy. Pointless. Why not bring Under on go hell for leather and try and win the game for a change. Over thinking sh1t as per usual.4 points

I hope I'm wrong but I wouldn't be sad to see him go. Bored of our style of play far too often, the management of the squad is questionable and there seems to be a very comfortable set-up where dreadful performances are excused. I suppose we'll just have to put up with plenty of dross from here and hope we get good games to show glimpses of what we could be.4 points
