  1. Fans Groups associated with Leicester City are asking fans NOT to purchase the forthcoming game against Arsenal on Sunday and any future games whilst the fee for these games remains at the high price of £14.95. Suggested charities to donate to instead are detailed on our website https://foxestrust.co.uk/8487/boycott-of-pay-per-view-games

  2. To be fair, I've never had the feeling Leicester was exploiting us or vice versa. As long as we played in the 2nd division, it was very difficult for both clubs to have a "win-win" relationship. Leicester could've send us players like Choudhury and Barnes while we were in 2nd division. This would've increased our chances to win the league by 100%, but those players wouldn't have developed in the players they are today. This would've been a bad situation for the Foxes Leicester could've also send us their entire U23 squad, so they could play "1st team football", but this

  3. Before we all go patting Congerton on the back, let’s look at the facts - Nigel finished work at Carlisle at the end of the 1998/99 season, and wasn’t seen back in football again until 2006, where he resurfaced at Newcastle. Around the same time Steve Walsh mysteriously leaves a good job at Chelsea, goes missing for a few years and then resurfaces at, yes you’ve guessed it Newcastle with Big Nige. Now what’s this got to do with Little Wes, well around the time both of these blokes are missing a young lad is conceived in France and born in late 2000, funnily enough given the same name at

  7. Writing off a highly rated, young, international winger after 60 minutes of game time demonstrates how pig-shit stupid some elements of our support are.

  10. Pointless loan. If he's Injured (which is probably the case) then so be it. But the lad needs games. He should have gone to a club where he was at least going to play week in week out or as much as possible.

  11. Because Evans is cracking on, Soyuncu is of high interest to some of the biggest and richest Clubs in the world and Fofana could join that level in the next year too. Then there's a soon to be 37 years old Wes Morgan in his last year of contract. We seem to plan ahead in terms of recruitment too.

  12. Or unless we have a massive sell on % meaning Reading would have to pay us some of the transfer fee 😂

  13. Fair play to him for making a career for himself. He has obviously had a great start to the season. I would put it down him probably wanting a new contract though.

  14. Good work son, it isn't easy being different, or being an outsider, especially when you are young. Kudos also to Kel for the black power salute when taking the knee. In 1968 2 men effectively sacrificed their athletic careers to take a stand and make that salute. Thankfully we can tolerate such uncomfortable truths these days, even if things are far from perfect. 15. Why oh why can't the premier league learn from the likes of Netflix which effectively killed illegal downloads due to its low price point. The sooner they realise this, the better for sport in this country. Sky and BT are a dead format.

  17. This may prove unpopular and to be fair, I won’t be paying for the PPV. But to be clear if a digital season ticket to watch my team on TV at home could be purchased for all Leicester PL games (and preferably all competitions too) I would pay up to £10 a game providing a decent proportion of the revenue went back to the club or spread across all clubs) circa £400 Is like a gym membership or golf club fee or low cost season ticket - especially considering I could maybe cancel all other sport subscription channels which cost £20 plus a month anyway, I’d be happy watching highlights o

  19. This reminds me of that quote about Boris Johnson: ”He waits to see which way the crowd is running and then runs to the front and says “Quick, follow me””. Lots of worthy causes here that hopefully people will donate to but leadership was needed from fan groups a couple of weeks ago. I’m sure the overwhelming majority of people have already made their minds up about whether they’re going to pay when this was being discussed a fortnight or so ago. Perhaps Marcus Rashford’s work with FareShare night also be worth adding to the list. https://faresh

  27. My Grandad lived in Filbert Street and sent his Mum and Dad a post-card from the trenches in France to Filbo, in WW1 where he served as a young man. Sends a shiver down my spine everytime I read it, pride of place as my bookmark in Of Fossils & Foxes. They must have lived there when the ground was built?

  28. Just switched on so not seen any footage of any decisions but moments later he said VAR don't want to be analysing things in microscopic detail. Nearly spat my tea out. Has he not seen any of the 300 games that totally contradict that statement over the last 18 months?!

  29. We should have a national Tier 3 for November on the basis that we go back to Tier 1 for the month of December with the acceptance that we'll probably need to go back to Tier 2 or 3 in January thereafter. Think it would gain a degree of buy in from the general public which would enhance compliance before and after December, particularly as the alternative will be this no mans land we are currently in until spring. Lets face it, regardless of restrictions people are going to break them around the Xmas period.

  31. Disgraceful, absolutely despicable. This attitude of complete disregard and laziness for the world, the planet, human kind, that is so prevalent in all areas of human habitation will be another knock-on effect of this ****ing virus. It grates on me in the same way that dog owners can't be arsed to take their little bags of dogshite to a bin, or even home, if necessary.

  32. Anyone hear Madders interview yesterday ? Spoke about how he is desperate to win trophies and how he believes Leicester’s squad is more then capable of winning things. You then google Madders name and one of the first article is “Maddison warns Leicester he wants to win trophies”. No mention of his ambition to do it with Leicester just that he’s been linked with other clubs. Journalism seems at times like a really easy profession.

  34. Got to say, I was pro-first lockdown and have generally been for the measures that have come in, but I'm not convinced by the firebreak lockdown either. To me, local lockdowns right now in places like Liverpool where NHS capacity is genuinely on the verge of being breached, with the potential for a nationwide lockdown if the NHS looks like it will definitely breach capacity over the winter makes the most sense. But to me, a firebreak lockdown is just kicking the can down the road a month or so while putting people's livelihoods at risk. I don't see the logic in how it will save ma

  36. I know each to their own and we don’t have to follow the clubs every beck and call but I find it very disappointing that Top (rightly so IMO) says a staunch no against PPV and some of our fans go out there and pay for it anyway. Im glad the vast majority of football fans see sense and support the clubs decision.

  38. Pleased for him, always thought he was decent. Has he improved enough to be first choice in a team challenging for European spots? I would be surprised, and I doubt he would move to not be first choice, but the pull of his home town club could be too great. Unfinished business and all that.

  40. I'll be using the "Three Little Pigs" metaphor. Except, let's add 3 additional pigs, and call them 'The Top 6 Big Pigs' LCFC is the wolf, but we are the fox, obviously. Liverpool and Man City both have houses made of Bricks, we huff and puff against Liverpool, but we rarely blow their house down. And because we're a fox, we don't go down Man City's chimney, we simply pick the lock on their front door and rob them that way. Chelsea's house is also made of bricks, but Brendan still has a key, so we get in, enjoy the soup from the pot and maybe take

  42. I stopped playing golf about 3 years ago and have only played once since then. My last official handicap was 8 and today I was invited to play with some old mates. Turned up with absolutely zero expectations and duly hooked my tee shot on the first OOB and made double Then.... Parred 14 out of the next 17 holes with 2 birdies and another double A 2 over Gross 74 completely out of the blue. Played out my skin and putted like a demon. Golf really is a mental game!!

  44. As a staunch lefty but a pretty cynical pragmatist, I ****ing hate these people. I'm intending to leave Unite because of it, tbh, Mcluskey has always been a **** but his latest toys out the pram tantrum is just a step too far. I'd love it if we lived in some Scandi style utopia with a more naturally left leaning populace but at the end of the day, this is a Conservative country that largely elects Conservative governments. If you want to get in to power as a Labour leader you need to be electable first and foremost or all you're doing is damaging the cause and ensurin
