He has been one hell of a player for us and whatever he decides is just fine by me. We have been very lucky to have him play for us10 points

It’s incredible that Liverpool saw Manchester City’s defence fall apart last season after adopting a policy of having just 3 senior centre backs and having a Brazilian defensive midfielder fill in as an emergency option and thought they’d do exactly the same thing this year and they’d be fine. Two of the many smart things Rodgers has done this season are a) to keep some fringe players around for another season to lessen the injury burden and b) to scale back the intensity of our play to accommodate the extra fixtures. One of the key reasons for Liverpool wanting 5 subs9 points

I finally get to visit Seagrave next week in a work capacity, so hopefully I'll be able to get a few decent pics to put up. I'm still amazed the club haven't made a bigger deal of the progress. What have we had, one set of photos and a video in 2 years?7 points

There's plenty of people in the world of sport and entertainment who I admire, but for me a 'role model' is someone you know personally. During my lifetime there have been 4 people who I would class as 'role models' for me, but none of you would have heard of them: 1. My Dad for his values, courage and ability not to get stressed or flustered in a crisis 2. My Uncle for what he achieved in business and his ability to build rapport and create relationships 3. An ex boss who gave me the best developmental feedback I ever received and helped me grow up 4. My6 points

I love how Praet has described Castagne as a 'window wiper', for his ability to get up and down the pitch.6 points

It's UEFA, not FIFA. Nations League was invented exactly because of the feedback that clubs (and international federations) wanted friendlies to be more meaningful. Now there's actually something at stake in those games, but still some are complaining? I will refer to my post further up as a counterargument, but it really just boils down to money and no parties willing to compromise. FYI the friendlies that are being played now are postponed fixtures from about half a year ago. It's a bit random really. I'd just started seriously following English football and I had internatio6 points

Honestly think this may be the most well received thing I've ever designed. Which considering it's effectively just a white rectangle with black text on, I'm not sure how to take that.6 points

Feels like we've been spoiled rotten with constant football for the past few weeks. To start with I was thankful for the break, but now I'm getting cravings. Fvcking international break shit. Fvck off, nobody cares.6 points

NDA was signed by all parties to not post images onto social media. They want to provide their own photos as part of a ‘grand opening’ no longer with visitors due to pandemic. Club has taken plenty of their own videos and photos but due to delays they didn’t want to issue them due to a false hope of completion because it’s out of everyone’s control. nearly there. First team due early December to start! There will be a large update of photos and all sorts in a few weeks.5 points

Might be a bit out there but here’s my suggestion. The entire calendar should have been reviewed, if UEFA were insistent on European competitions and international competitions this what I’d have done. Have one big international break in first week October lasting say three weeks - each group is its own bubble. Games are all played in the same local area. So for example Manchester could host a group - all games played across those three weeks and all four teams in hotels within the bubble. All other football suspended for three weeks. Fourth week of October and fi5 points

I think the biggest problem foreign attacking imports will have in January is this. 😊5 points

Got to admit, I’m more interested in following and watching our players at international level than I am in watching England these days. Used to always follow England but all I see now is guaranteed qualification followed by tournament bottle jobs.4 points

90th minute, brink of your first major finals in like five hundred years, defending a corner, the opposition just brought on a six foot striker, he's stood five inches in front of the goal. Anyone want to mark him? Narh you're alright. We're gonna stay home and cheer against England thanks.4 points

It's bound to miss cases. Many people have no symptoms and reason to believe they have it so they don't get tested. Look at Accrington Stanley - they missed 4 games recently because they had 19 players and staff down with it. But until they go tested, none of them knew they were carrying it. Probably most of those 19, if they had been in "normal life" as opposed to football would not have been tested.4 points

It's not just an argument about this week or this month. GPs have been discouraging visits since March and did not lift the restrictions when the rates of infection were low in summer. This, then, was not about protecting the NHS but about trying to ensure that no-one caught coronavirus at all. There will have to be reduced cancer screenings and operations and so forth when the crisis is at its peak, but the crisis down time when cases were few should have been a time to catch up - not a time to keep on hiding because it hadn't quite gone away. We don't know how much effect the4 points

What an earth are you talking about Evans played every single league game and 8 Cup games last season. He has been struggling with an injury which we are trying to manage but This is one of the biggest games in Northern Irelands history and as a proud Northern Irishman his priorities are going to be on it and rightly so.4 points

Firstly, how much of a right-leaning partisan do you have to be to describe a US Democratic government as 'communist in all but name'? Seriously, even Bernie Sanders would be viewed as a right-leaning centralist in my country and I definitely don't consider Denmark to be a communist country. Secondly, why IS communism treated with such derision? It's an (admittedly outdated) ideology attempting to balance power between the people and the elite - and by definition most voters will be firmly in the 'people' group. It's funny how the term has been made to equate a totalitarian system, wher4 points

In 2 of our best results we had 5 of the league winners . Many on here should be embarrassed by their comments re Fuchs Albrighton and Morgan all are superb professionals and I dont think any were playing against West Ham and none been in a losing team this season4 points

The selection of full backs and defensive/non-creative midfielders in this squad is absolutely baffling. How on earth does Maitland-Niles get a gig? Absolutely wild.3 points

Sanders isn't even Left wing. He's center left and biden is center right. Communisim is very far away from even Sanders. American politics over does everything. Look at this graph for a reference point to where soviet communism would be. Labour is more left-wing than sanders. The scaremongering in the USA is OTT.3 points

We sacrificed Barnes/Ünder in the starting line up for an extra ACM because we knew that Wolves would sit back regardless and we have been horrid at creating much from open play against them at home. At Man City he picked Barnes alongside Vardy and will vs Liverpool IMO.3 points

They chose to sell Lovren, however disliked he was, which reduced their options. Rodgers did exactly the right thing in keeping Morgan and Fuchs around, plus moving JJ into the centre of a three. Klopp is a world class manager, he'll find a way.3 points

Given everything that has happened this year and still having growing numbers of covid cases across Europe, its absolutely ridiculous that international football is still being played, especially friendlies. Players have had little to no pre season and the club calendar is already cram packed but yet uefa/fifa still insist on internationals. Its about time the players stood up and said enough is enough. They get their lavish lifestyles and nice pay packets from playing for clubs not for countries. I also know that I probably sound like an entitled little t*at as I am supporting a3 points

You genuinely think that a communist government in all but name is going to stop anyone starving? I don't get leftist logic sometimes. There are going to be a lot of salty tears cried by people who are willing their freedoms and rights away when Trump is back in office!3 points

But it still favours the big six so we shouldn’t vote for it the fact we are top with the worst injury list out there re starters and playing EL shows that the big clubs are just whinging players don’t need ‘protecting’ - they are paid well and if they get an injury then that just too bad The unpredictability of the league over rides everything at the moment - makes it a far better tv spectacle than the past couple seasons3 points
