  1. Honestly I'm so done with pussyfooting around because supporters of bigoted wannabe fash tyrants might get hurt by saying that's what they are. If you can't condemn what happened and if you can't condemn Trump without making some intellectually vacant swing at left wingers who have the square root of fvck all to do with it then you've got brainworms and don't deserve me being nice just because the orange man said you're special.

  3. Pleased to see news of the return to the 8PM clap met with derision on social media. Such 'look at me' nonsense and does fvck all to help. They need a pay rise not a round of applause.

  4. Comparing street protests with the occasional criminal deviancy (smashing a window or looting) with literally storming a federal building whilst government is convened to elect the next President. One is petty criminal behaviour, the other is approaching (if not decidedly) domestic terrorism. How are they in any way fit to compare?

  5. Priti Patel is vile and always has been. She went on BBC an hour later and said the opposite because she's realised she cocked up. She's absolutely useless at reading from a brief or sticking to what she should say. She's literally a character from the Thick of It with Malcolm Tucker crying his eyes out in the background.

  6. It's slightly different from that. The scientists have tested the vaccine and say that it works with the jabs 21 days apart; they have not tested it at 12 weeks apart, or for that matter at 20 or 22 days apart, so they do not express an opinion on whether it works. What the government is saying, backed up by the Pfizer scientists, is that at the end of 3 weeks the first jab is showing 85% efficiency. Three weeks after the second jab, the combined vaccine is showing 95% efficiency. They don't have information on what happens after 5 weeks if you only have 1 jab, or for that matte

  8. Nonsense. Trump is no longer the 'leader of our ally' in any meaningful sense; and surely the better diplomacy would have been to curry favour with Biden by telling it as it is, as many national leaders have. His refusal to directly implicate Trump in last night's events is a disgrace, and something which won't have gone unnoticed by the incoming administration.

  11. Many of these people are far from 'left behind'. They're Nazis. I think it is underestimated how much of a concerted effort there has been in recent years to undermine liberal democracies with large scale disinformation campaigns online and funding for extremist groups.

  12. Looking at all the slogans and chants those terrorists had yesterday, makes me think that anyone who remotely justifies their actions and does not see how Trump (who said "I love you all" to them) doesn't incite this sort of behaviour can be thrown into the racist category for sure! Those will be the same people that will ask all Muslims to condemn any "Islamic" terrorist attack but will not even acknowledge that this was a terrorist attack, instead pass it off as some people just "being a bit silly". Trump is the reason why these people have been empowered to do what they do and come out in t

  14. No. No. No. I'm sorry, but you can't equate the two. Was there some criminal behaviour at BLM protests? Yes. Was it an insurrection led by the incumbent President? No.

  16. I feel until we are in the position of having to start looking at dropping Kasper and replacing him, he needs to keep going out on loans and getting regular game time 23 is still pretty young for a keeper and could still be another couple of years before we look for a new number 1 but hopefully by that time he will have enough regular football under his belt to throw his name into the ring for first choice I think the 5 and a half year deal we gave him last year is probably the longest deal we have ever given to a non-first team player, so the club definitely seem to th

  17. I won't be clapping tonight, I stopped after about 2 weeks of the first one when some dickhead was outside at about 7:55 shouting for people to come out and clap and then banging a dustbin lid with a wooden spoon. **** off. Why can't we just be low-key and respectful in this country? Why is there always so much one-upmanship? People always have to have a bigger and better poppy, or show the most grief on social media. A simple round of clapping was enough, but some twat always has to go over the top.

  20. I hope you're right but also think that you're massively underestimating the support Trump has within the population as well as how deep the problems run in the american society. Do not forget that almost half of the population voted for him twice and if not for Covid he'd have won again. Trump's the GOP Frankenstein's monster but this support doesn't come out of nowhere and it's about time for both sides to take look at it. There are people who are so fed up with how things actually work that a sociopathic billionaire conman, who never belonged to them and never gave flying fuk about them in

  22. I wouldn't say it was a waste to send him to Leuven in the initial instance, he was 1st choice and playing well, then got injured and was unlucky in the fact that his replacement Romo came in and was playing quite well If he hadn't got injured I have no doubt he would likely still have remained the 1st choice for Leuven

  23. I was saying to the fiancée. Just imagine the outcry that would follow if it’d had been the BLM movement. Or if this was a Middle Eastern country - the person responsible would have been ripped to pieces by the states and most likely brought to justice by the states. What is for sure is that Trump should not be in power and he’s clearly unfit to do the role. He built his campaign on racial discrimination and inequality but hid it (barely) behind the visage of immigration. I’m with @Carl the Llamahere. If you defend this , an actual assault on democracy and bearing in mind we’ve been to war for

  25. Some of them had t-shirts with Nazi slogans and White Supremacist tattoos FFS. How do you compromise with people like that? If you're talking about the tens of millions of people who voted for Trump then fine, I agree. America's in trouble if it struggles to genuinely help improve their lives so they fall prey to a madman peddling hatred and easy answers again. But a mob attempting a coup like that was not an inevitable consequence of people feeling pissed off about their life. These are people who probably always had extreme views and were whipped up to believe that Tr

  29. FA Cup or top four finish... Sorry, it’s a top four finish right now for me because that’s where the money is, it’s how we grow and get to win lots of FA Cups. Would I like to win the FA Cup, hell yeah - but I can wait. It’s not an either or question of course but rotating and resting players when the schedule is tight would be my preference. *Goes off to get tin hat.

He picked up another injury (very common whilst coming back from a bad injury, as parts of the body over compensate, whilst original injury heals). He’s not yet ready to return from second injury, but it looks like he’s making good progress. What’s the issue 🤷🏻‍♂️

  33. There are so many Covid patients, younger this time. But my hospital is full Truly, I never imagined it would be this bad. Once again Covid has spread out along the hospital, the disease greedily taking over ward after ward. Surgical, paediatric, obstetric, orthopaedic; this virus does not discriminate between specialities. Outbreaks bloom even in our “clean” areas and the disease is even more ferociously infectious. Although our local tests do not differentiate strains, I presume this is the new variant. The patients are younger this time around too, and there are so many of the

  34. When they start the evictions and foreclosures(now), regardless of what the Federal Government does, is when the real violence will happen. There are many landlords, owners of rental properties and banks etc. who owe money to other banks and financial institutions. Like dominoes falling with the Populace taking the biggest hit at the bottom of the pile. As in homelessness off the charts. Everything is at stake now and has been building for many years with banks and financial institutions always getting bailed out but the citizens receive no or little help. And the Grift continues t

  38. This is disgusting. They showed up with bombs. They stormed a govt building. They caused criminal damage. They entered senior minister offices and ransacked them. They vandalised the office of the speaker - god knows what they would've done to her if she was there. They were inspired to do these things by a egotistical man hell bent on spreading a hateful ideology. Have we let principles fall so low that we cannot call a spade a spade! **** the politics around this man, have some integrity.
