And as for the bench.....down to the bare bones by the looks of it29 points

Actually thought the boys put in a decent shift. Would have lost that last season.22 points

I can’t be the only one that enjoyed that, surely? I thought our makeshift team did well and showed real spirit and played some good football. I’d have clapped them off and enjoyed my drive home if I’d been there.17 points

Vardy needs a rest and Brendan needs to grow a pair and go through with it.17 points

There's some real entitlement in this fan base. We're missing half our team and drew a very tricky away game. We aren't going to win every week and we are going to win less often with the players we have available.15 points
-
Well yeah on paper. But it's not like we're losing consistently are we? I swear some people are so short-sighted and either choose to ignore the big picture or just can't see it.14 points

Baffled by Rodgers subs sometimes.. 1) How did Hamza survive 75 minutes? 2) Why does he always seem to sub Iheanacho off when he's playing well? 3) There is literally no excuse to play Amartey RB when Castagne and Ricardo are both on the pitch and Thomas is on the bench. Its a complete waste of a position as he adds nothing. Good job Kasper is World Class otherwise we lose that comfortably..14 points

I don't think it is a bad point, really. Performance not great with a patch-up, cobbled together team, Schmeichel played superbly but many on here were writing us off so a draw isn't a disgrace.13 points

Sad to see him being singled out by so many... ...but I came here to do the same. Not of the required standard13 points
-
Oh come off it you lot, all things considered that was a hard fought and good point. On to the next one.12 points

Would take a point in the circumstances. Lack of key players, different personnel and change of formation. Some players still do need to step up though...12 points

Hahaha this punditry. Cole - "He's got blistering pace for a 32 year old." Cates - "Hes 34 I think!" Minute later. Morrison - "You've got to remember Vardy's 33 now".12 points

I can't believe that people expect us to be able to go to Burnley with a decimated squad where we are missing our most creative players and expect us to be able to just brush Burnley aside, sense of entitlement amongst our fans is ridiculous at times11 points

£50m for someone who will be 29 at the start of next season would he crazy.11 points

Am I the only one who thought we were doing okay and getting back in to the game?!10 points

For anyone who doesn't want to watch or has decided they won't, can you actually follow through with your words so we don't have to see your constant moaning about any small thing that might not be perfect during the game please10 points

Still disappointed we took off our only player capable of scoring. Rodgers needs to grow some bollocks and admit Vardy isn’t at the races right now.9 points

I had very low expectations of us tonight but we probably exceeded them. Kasper was magnificent.9 points

Well he played there against Wood at CB in the home game and we won 4-19 points
-
....and if he had rested them back then he would have been verbally attacked by so many fans for not caring about those competitions. He's in a lose - lose position as far as fans go.9 points

Got my completion date finally confirmed! 15 March. Got a ridiculously long to-do list already, but looking forward to it all being done-and-dusted9 points

Pleased for him tonight. Not just for the fabulous finish but for his alround performance. Hopefully he can build on this as it looks like we will need his contribution during the run in8 points
-
I'd offer him a new contract. He's definitely not Vardy's long-term successor, but he's more than good enough to contribute.8 points
-
That's about 3% of what he's capable of. Be interesting to see him vs Brighton when the game opens up a bit. Great to see him make his PL debut, a proud moment for the day ones.8 points
-
An amazing goal, an amazing save, and we might have nicked it. Kasper MOTM. We looked better with Fofana in defence and Wilf in midfield.8 points
-
Unpopular opinion: I actually like a Vardy/Ian partnership.8 points

" I'll choose away please Sue " " which top 3 Premier League side picked 4 defenders and 3 defensive midfielders to one of of the most diabolical teams in the league who had scored 18 league goals in 26 games "8 points

Honestly some of the whinging on here in response to the lineup is embarrassing. Yes, we are well aware that's not our best team, we are ravaged by injuries to our best players in every position on the pitch. What else did you actually expect? I think that, given the circumstances, that's about as well as we could have done. Let's just wait and see how it goes, eh.8 points
-
Albrighton and Under starting is the attack we had last Thursday. People weren't exactly thrilled then, too. I'm afraid we're going to have to accept strange set-ups and personnel until the key players are ready again. Rodgers doesn't purposefully choose these teams as a laugh.8 points

SkySports 8:15PM Premier League Stars In Thier Eyes Next up is Harry, from Manchester. Tell us who you are going to be: Maguire: I get a lot of flak, sometimes, Matthew, and people say I have the turning circle of an oil tanker, but I've been inspired by the fog, and HMS Belfast we passed on the way to Selhurt Park. So tonight, Matthew, I'm going to be a Second World War battleship.7 points

What a wonderful feeling when he came on today and absolutely bossed it. Love his confidence and composure. Absolute madness the amounts spent by the oil barons and asset strippers to try and find quality at that position. Most of the time they fail. What a player.7 points
-
Get Brighton done then it’s 1 game per week. The worst of our fatigue/tiredness issues will be over, and players will start to come back. We’ll be alright.7 points

Over reactions here again I see.... Wasbt great but with what we had available we did ok. Forfana coming back was key. As the back 4 that finished the game was solid.7 points
-
Not going to sit there and say it’s good enough because it isn’t really. But...I think it was probably pretty important we didn’t lose that from a mental point of view.7 points

Bring Fofana on get Hamza off and Ndidi back into midfield7 points
-
Not great by any means but certainly not as bad as is being made out. Shit goal to concede thanks to Hamza's poor pass. Responded well. Sensational goal from Iheanacho. Just need to move the ball quicker and work it in behind. Castagne is doing well finding space on the left. They are there for the taking. Need to be more sure of our passes in general though.7 points
-
Be interesting to see if it's 5 at the back or a diamond; Kasper Castagne Amartey Soyuncu Ricardo Ndidi Mendy Hamza Tielemans Iheanacho Vardy Would rip your arm off for a the calmest of 2-0 wins ala Fulham away.7 points

The amount of people losing their shit over furlough being extended. Every single industry isn’t going to go back to 100% normality on 22nd June. At this point in time, there is still no date for international holidays to start again.7 points

I might sound stupid but is Erling Haaland someone we should look at in the summer? We need a new striker.7 points

He looked bright, positive, took players on and berated Vardy when he didn’t roll it to him when he was well positioned inside the box. Get the lad signed.6 points

I think what the past couple of pages of this thread has shown me is that we all put way too much stock in what gobshites on Twitter say and massively overestimate how many people they actually represent.6 points
