  1. The difference this season is we are getting players back in the next few weeks instead of getting injuries like we did last season. Yes if you are a pessimist you could say that we could pick up injuries but looking at the squad there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. We had Fofana back last night, Perez more that likely involved at the weekend. Evans I imagine was just rested / given a week to recover. Praet will be back soon and Maddison may be involved against Sheff United. After Brighton we have 1 league game in 3 weeks! with the FA cup in there as well

  2. I think the problem is that training and coaching have been minimal due to the congested schedule. They have only really had time for recovery and tactics. I'm sure now we have less games per week they can train more together as a full squad.

  3. Wow. Amazing. Consistently the fifth best club in the country is epic growth, compared to our historical average. And all that with half a squad 👍

  4. People worrying about us slipping out of the top 4 for the second season running. Read that again, and think about how far we have come since 2007/08 when we were worrying about slipping into League 1

  5. I'm sorry but if Youri Tielemans doesn't win POTY then it's another fine example of a moronic fan base that we have. Justin has been exceptional, Barnes in large spells too but Youri has been out of this world.

  6. Lack of squad depth is the wrong way to look at things. With the massive amount of injuries we have had throughout the season both long and short term, its the squad depth that has enabled us to stay in the top four all this time.

  7. Nothing less than 5 CDMs will do. Can't believe how gung ho Brendan went against Burnley with 2 attacking players on the pitch. The guys a mad man I tell thee

  9. Mendy is miles ahead of him as a player. So much more comfortable on the ball and will drive it forward. The fact Hamza was not subbed before Mendy is baffling

  11. There are certain areas I think Rodgers doesn't focus on as much but it's quite clear that he is a superb coach. Go through the squad and nearly every player has improved under him that was already here.

  12. Definitely gonna be a trivia question in a few years Which premier league team spent 74 games out of 76 in the top 4 of the premier league but never managed to qualify for the champions league in that time?

  14. I mean where to start. First of all this is unofficially unofficial. 1. Not starting this May, aiming for next May for stadium construction. 2. Which building supplement this is up in the air. 3. The CEO could be the downfall of the club, ok that’s a bit extreme but taste the frustration. 4. Covid is allowing a smoother transition whilst seagrave is getting up and running, some issues with contractor and staff (never mind) 5. Ceo doesn’t like strong willed subordinates, watch the .com staffing change soon. 6. Because of two CEO ‘issues’ all interested parties are walking away due lack of tran

  16. Seventy years old. Lifelong supporter. Was as excited before the game tonight as I was at my first ever visit to Filbert Street, 23rd March 1963 2-2 draw against Spurs. Watched the game tonight - without the sound after about 10 minutes because I was worried for my health and sanity. (Most commentators wind me up.) I enjoyed the rest of the game! (Steered clear of FT!) Was desperate for Hamza to do well after his mistake. Kasper kept us in it. We were a threat throughout (almost). We could have won it. Little Wes looked fantastic when he came on. Amazing strike from Kelechi. Could

  18. We finally exchanged Wednesday last week, same day we picked up the keys to the rental. Moved loads of stuff ourselves and then today the big move with the removals guys. Utterly exhausted but we’re in. A few more bits to grab tomorrow morning then drop the keys through the letterbox for the new owners. It’s sad but also exciting to know we can move to Australia on our timeline now!

  19. He’s better than mendy in almost all aspects of the game for me. I think mendys range of passing is slightly better but then again in the position they play it’s hardly crucial. Ndidi is a pretty poor passer. None of the three are good at that. However Hamza is better than mendy in every other way for me

  20. N'didi has dramatically improved his passing since Rodgers joined. He's no Tielemans, but he is picking some really good passes out this season. The one for Barnes' goal against Liverpool was another perfectly weighted pass

  21. Nope I saw what I needed to see in the second half of the last season. I saw a man standing on the side of the pitch looking confused, had no idea and almost suffering panic attack week in week out back in then. I saw an incompetent football Manager.

  22. The situation might be the same but the context is wildly different. Last year we were bottling it and there was a resurgent chasing pack including a galvanised Manchester United showing title winning form coming from miles back. This year there's a chaotic mix of teams all dropping points at a similar rate behind us, they're closer to us but none look currently like going on a run to trouble us. That said, this time last year we didn't have the same utterly decimated squad. Fingers crossed, we should have mostly everyone back by that run in of Chelsea, S

  25. I personally think Kasper should be in with a shout. His form this season has been sensational. Possibly the best I’ve seen him although keepers never seem to get awards.

  26. I caught Matt Elliott talking about our set pieces on one of those internal club videos (which are usually highly party-line and avoid any criticism, even constructive!) He basically couldn't hide his anger at how bad the set pieces were both offensivley and defensively. He said it was so basic the mistakes they were making. I've said it before but why not get Elliott, Tags, Walsh and even Guppy down to do some work with the squad? I know that might not be possible now with Covid but when things improve surely this would be so beneficial to us. We have some

  27. The obsession with Puel is honestly embarrassing. I have watched some terrible managers over the years at City (Holloway, Allen, Megson, Sousa, Rob Kelly, Levein etc) I don't take joy in their struggles at other clubs.

  28. All the great work he did to get the government to feed the children of poor families during the pandemic and now he's called Maguire a knobhead. Can Rashford get any more likeable?

  29. Concerning last 9 games Vardy is also "shite" , concerning matches against Slavia and first half of Arsenal Barnes was also "shite" , yesterday "Soyuncu", against Arsenal Ndidi was "shite". Under's restricted minutes played "shit" doesnt worth so much hate towards him as if he is a regular starter who is responsible for our traditional death spiral.

  30. I think 5th is a likely outcome but with players coming back and teams around us all struggling for consistency as well, we are still more than capable of getting over the line this time. Freak amount of injuries and a lack of squad depth are costing us right now. As Rodger's said though, we just have to get on with it and find a way.

  31. I understand he is not fitting here or he is not part of BR's master✌️plan but calling him sh.t or insulting him is not right. C'mon..... You're guys have to accept that there are many Turkish LCFC fans out there spread around the world, supporting the Foxes probably since Muzzy Izzet times like myself. We know Under and have been following him for a very long time regardless who he was playing for and really excited when he arrived in Kings Power stadium because this boy was playing side by side with the legendary Totti and ripped apart French National team single handedly.

  35. I see what you're saying. The title is rather outdated. I think most, but not all, of the posts on here are pretty respectful and there's not much wrong with admiring a good looking woman, or man. There are plenty of websites that are a hell of a lot more derogatory to people than this thread, which I believe is intended to be some light-hearted fun. Unfortunately, we now live in a ridiculously politically correct society. Someone, somewhere, will take offence to anything. (That's not a dig at anyone by the way)

  38. Although we're on the same points and position, the current form is vastly different. We'd lost 5 of the previous ten on reaching 27 games- this year we've lost 2 in 14. This season feels different even though the outcome may be the same.

  41. Can't quite put my finger on what the issue is between him and Brendan. I'm absolutely convinced that over a full season playing regularly he's a 20 goal a season striker. Yes, he doesn't do the running of Vardy but there's no denying he knows how to find the back of the net. Weirdly there's an argument that the fact his only contribution in some games is a goal it's actually a good thing as it means his goals are evenly distributed which is a positive if you're a team like us that doesn't concede a huge amount as you'll likely pick up more points. I know some might say he's been
