  1. I'm the same I know 1 person who has definitely had it, but recovered, I know 2 people who know people who have died from it. But when you look at the numbers, I'm sure once this is over, most people will have lost a family member or a friend. Be grateful if you don't.
  2. And personally for me, that's the message the government should be pushing. Anything other than exercise as that could be dangerous, people should be wearing them, for shopping, work, anything.
  3. My mates wife runs co-op Leicestershire funeral parlours, Loughborough alone is doing 90 a week just from Covid 19, and most the county the same. Down from 1 hour slots at the crematorium to 15 mins. That's the reality of it. It's a miracle if you don't know anyone that's died from it.
  4. Yeah think people are getting to hung up on quality. If you use double thickness cotton you can make versions with pockets for disposable filters. But even just basic cotton ones that can be washed, stop the droplets entering your mouth or nose and also stop anyone with the virus but unaware, spreading them outside their own mask. Also told keeping placing in the freezer inside a freezer bag overnight helps as well. At least that's what co-op funeral staff are being told.
  5. Some cotton, some elastic and a needle and thread, or sewing machine is all that's needed. Surely there's plenty of companies in Leicestershire alone that can mass produce. My 10 year old daughter is currently able to produce 20 or so a day on her own. So it can't be that difficult. Her aim is to produce enough for the family, neighbours and any school friends and families that require them.
  6. Cardiff and Deeney day today. Really contrasting emotions. Cardiff despite the Kermit moment, i was so proud of us as a team and a fanbase that evening. Watford however I was so pissed off and gutted at the time. Closest I'd come to actual tears at the football since Swindon in 93. And having to get the train back to tring with to many yellow shirts didn't help my mood, was meant to go back to my sister in laws, but I was so pissed off I went to a pub and got the wife to pick me up from there. Nice little place, sat in the lounge with my mate and sank a few beers.
  7. Yep. It was down to the fact they tried to save a few quid, as once it was over clad, no one would have know. But they got caught out, and they had to re clad to meet the fire regs or add additional fire exits and the club refused to allow it.
  8. Like I say was a few weeks back. The wife hasn't done any site visits in 2 months as they have been advised not too. Might see if I can push her out the door and get her to go
  9. A few months back they clad the whole of the inside of the main show pitch and building in the wrong material and had to replace at own cost as they took the project on a fixed tender. The error meant the building wouldn't have met the fire regulations had it not been replaced. I was told tha they are still on schedule tho. Although that was a few weeks ago.
  10. Mr Barry Holt would have been a teenager in 1995 he still travels down to the KP every week. He's as passionate a Leicester Fan you can meet.
  11. Spain have apparently just announced a 2 week quarantine, so a holiday to spain will now need 6 weeks
  12. The 14 day rule should have been brought in as soon as China had it. We had the perfect chance to say, if you want to travel you will be put in isolation for 14 days on touch down on UK soil, would have saved 1000s of lives. My sister in law and her husband had to pull their flight to NZ forward a week and made it in with a few hours to spare, they were placed straight into isolation in an air b&b allocated by the state, they were left to rely on food parcels dropped on the door step, supermarkets were only allowed to sell essential items only, none of the old middle isle at al
  13. Unfortunately that just sums up the general arseholes we have in society. I've spent more time cycling down the middle of the road on my own, than many do when they go out in groups to make sure I give people their distance. Much to the delight of the DPD drivers round here
  14. As does golf and if you play like me, social distancing is not an issue.
  15. When they move the shit. You can smell it in Goscote. The players will love that
  16. I'm using fuchs at lcb with no problems. I'm in the same boat I basically rinsed everything I had to get him, they made an error in starting wilf with no way of completing him. Got enough to get the same icons as you or gattuso, no idea if it's now just time to discard everything for 1 PL side or what.
  17. Just did the pl 12 pack upgrade and got totssf wan bissaka shame its untradeable. Do I chuck it in the PL guaranteed or use him
  18. They can go play in a european league then I understand the horse has bolted, but something needs to be done, because this virus is gonna show how close to collapse the house of cards really is...sadly you are correct tho and nothing will change.
  19. Hopefully some sort of salary cap is agreed. But if not, a lower basic wage, more incentive, performance related. Sure they could all live off 50k a week across the board for example, then boost that income by clean, sheets, goals, assists, apps etc. There's no reason other than greed that the contracts ended up the way they did, they saw 1 person getting silly money so followed suit, at the cost of smaller clubs, now the big boys risk the same outcome, maybe it will shock them into action, as I say I doubt it, but it would be nice to think they could come up with a model that doe
  20. Short trip for us and the petanque piste keeps my kids quiet for a while. As well.👍
  21. I was meant to be on one in April, for a July wedding, wedding now gone as well. Stag do now Nov, wedding june 2021.
  22. So this is a joint scheme building one side of the 46 in charnwood and the other side near six hills falling into Melton borough. So a great new urban development, with the A46 straight through the middle. Oh I can't wait to move there For what it's worth I believe this is another Gladmans project whatever the article says about the name on the application, no idea why they keep trying down here, they recently had an application for 300 houses in East Goscote rejected and I'm sure a similar outcome in Sielby. Charnwood have their 5 year housing supply, so many major ap
  23. No but we handed huge rises across the board after 2016, that I don't as such have an issue with, but extending them all for basically 4 years almost across the board was a little reckless, they could have just said to the likes of Fuchs, who at the time had suggested he wasnt staying, kingy, god love him, wes, Simpson etc we will bump your wages for the remainder of your contract and sot and talk then. On the subject of summer 16 transfer business, I know slim and silva have been mentioned in terms of still being here but not playing, but then we have kapustka, chuck in musa, RRZ
