Presenters name is Chowdury...different spelling but I made my post when Gary said time for the draw with ??. Chowdury before her name appeared on screen so not a dickhead comment thanks
If the name in question was ‘Brown’ you wouldn’t have made it, ergo dickheaded comment.

We were in for Abraham a few years back and I have always liked him as an option. He’d fit the Rodgers’ mould well and, probably most importantly, is such a different striker to Vardy so it would force us to not find an (let’s be fair) inferior like-for-like replacement and allow us to evolve as a team and a club.

For me, it's not so much the player (although it's not exactly exciting) but rather the position. We don't need another DM. We need an attacking midfielder.
An injury to Maddison today with Youri picking up a yellow and we have a midfield of Mendy and Hamza with Perez at #10 and Nacho up top... That's not a top 6 lineup.
Let’s not forget Praet but I see your point, maybe they are looking at one also. It looks to me as if he is trying to get a permanent position such as Hamza off the books and backfill with a loan option or 2 to cover both positions.

I think I am the only one to not mind this.
- Premier League experience- Rodgers has worked with him before
- Not tearing up trees for Watford but neither was Simpson at QPR and I would back our squad, coaching & structure to get the best out of him
- Would add strength in depth as we are across 3 competitions
- Loan with option to buy can’t hurt
this has potential and if it doesn’t work out - fitness or form then send him back.-

Yeah he was spot on, we signed both of them at the same time. GMS has tons of ability but he is terribly inconsistent and mentally quite weak. If he could have turned it on every week he would have been in the EPL too. Yeah he's recently signed for Hearts after a stint at NYCFC. He's better than the Scottish Championship tbf, he'll still do a job in the top league, where Hearts will be again next season.
Sounds a bit like Knockeart

The guy interviewing Maddison did his best to ruin it - what a douche nozzle.
We’ve sold a CB and FB the last 2 years for 130m and still have 3 players at each position better than the one we sold. Pretty incredible - but that’s how LCFC becomes a top 4 contender.
Isn’t it great? I was crunching some numbers whilst on the lav the other day and by my reckoning out of the PROFITS of player sales since we won the league we now have better players in those positions (poss Mahrez excluding) have a £100 million training ground and around £70 million left over. Staggering.

I made the mistake of looking at their social media profiles about 4 years ago.
I didn’t need to see anymore to conclude my opinion was bang on and unless they have both had a personality transplant,I very much doubt there would be much of a marked change. If we judged everyone by their social media profiles we’d all be total self indulged willy pullers

And that is what sums them both up as people and players.
Bit harsh. Can’t say I know either of them personally.

How nice has it been to sit here with my coffee and read a thread with so much love for Amartey. No negativity, and no bickering, almost the personality of the man himself. A thoroughly lovely read for a thoroughly lovely bloke. Here’s hoping he pushes on.

Barnes and Gray were probably at the same level 12 months ago, now look at the difference.
Very good point this

Not one to make sensationalist statements but this is going to be an absolute game changer for us. Absolutely incredible testament to the ambition of our wonderful owners.

I think I relish us beating Spurs more than any other side, such is my loathing of the arrogant ba$tards
I’ve never had an issue with Spurs to be honest, a very ‘blah’ team who have achieved little other than a couple of cup successes in my lifetime (I’m 43).
They keep trying and keep failing, the more time passes the more they fail and reality catches up with them. A bit like West Ham & Leeds. Clubs that feed off their history but have no real impact on the top echleons of the game and until they check themselves they’re only going to wreck themselves.

Wonder who'll be the first player to drive to old training ground by mistake.
Probably Robbie Savage

He's a grumpy teenager. Needs to grow the fvck up.
The first time he comes back here the chants of "Leicester reject" are going to be deafening, personally I can't wait.
Dreadful posts on so many levels.

1 minute ago, marbles said:I have an issue with this line of thought, not this post but all of them. Mahrez wanted to move, so what? He wanted to further his career, fair enough. I recall when he missed out on the transfer deadlines he didn’t actually refuse to play for us and in fact put in a decent shift inbetween transfer windows. Ok, some ‘reports’ of things he has said don’t paint him in a favourable light but I haven’t actually seen him make these comments so I take much of it with a headline writing pinch of salt.
All in all I’m happy for the bloke, nice to see an ex-player doing well.

Replace Justin for Ricardo and Ndidi for Mendy and this is the most devastating side Leicester have ever been able to field. Fingers crossed we get to see it this season.
Don’t disagree but would you swap out Evans for Soyuncu?

Guess the whole thing is on hold as he keeps writing incredible chapters and his story isn’t finished.

There’s “plenty” of players knocking around the league. But since you’ve edited to add the “impact” part my point becomes irrelevant as I wasn’t talking about trophies they’ve won, more the non league jump in general. Although Ian Wright, of course, was a huge success at Arsenal including winning trophies and becoming their top goalscorer.
Ian Wright... go on... “plenty” you say.

If we did spunk that kind of money on this fella then I'd bet my left nut on Ricardo leaving next year.
Ricardo leaves, Timmy moves to the right and this boy plays left.
I would enjoy watching everyone lose their shit when they realise we already had a replacement in the squad at half the cost. Again.

With the amount of players we have in the Belgium team and that we are playing at our feeder club OH Leuven’s ground, and the fact I can’t stand Southgate I find myself fully supporting Belgium tonight. Am I a bad person?

I recall he was holding out for Arsenal but when it became evident they didn’t want to risk an unknown quantity he came to us.
