  1. Great singers though πŸ˜‚ https://youtu.be/ml5yXqv5KrQ
  2. He was with us til the end of the season but got injured away to Barnsley and missed the rest of the season. Blackpool was the next season.
  3. 96/97. Always liked Wilson, scored 3 or 4 Premier League goals for us and thought he was gonna kick on but O'Neill obviously didn't see it that way. Inclined to trust him to be honest πŸ˜€
  4. This prompted me to have a read through 'Of Fossils and Foxes' to see if any names jumped out at me. I have zero recollection of us signing Lars Gunnar-Carlstrand but he was on the bench for us in our 3-5 defeat to Blackburn. Another game I was at.
  5. Reminded me of Scot Gemmill from the same period. Have to check whether they actually played for us as they were so non descript.
  6. Who can forget his silky finish against Macclesfield under Sousa.
  7. Couple of loan players I got really excited about when they signed (I was young) and not many people remember or have heard of them. Sascha Lenhart - came on as a sub against Scarborough after Jamie Lawrence knocked himself out scoring a diving header. And Kevin Harper, he only played about 2 or 3 games for us and I really liked the look of him but no one ever remembers him. I also had unnecessary levels of excitement when we signed Fernando Pasquinelli but he never made an appearance 😒
  8. We've had this before and I'm sure I have the same answer. League One is the season I probably went to most matches. Went to every home and most away. David Martin played 30 matches in goal for us that season and I don't remember a single second of him. When he made his brief cameo for West Ham last year I was aware of him being with us but in my head he had been on the bench. I remember Paul Henderson, David Stockdale, Tony Warner, Mark Bunn who all played significantly fewer games in goal for us that season. I even remember the sub appearance from Carl Pentney
  9. Ancient Egypt. I love history, in fact it was my favourite subject at school and I took it for A-Level but this topic bores me to tears and I just can't get to grips with it. My son is learning about with his homeschooling at the minute and I'm having to sit through countless videos with him for his work and it's just tedious.
  10. Same. Started it at 11pm last night and had to finish it.
  11. A trait replicated by their disciples.
  12. Was there at Stoke away for our first win back in the Premier League, lovely finish from Ulloa to give us that win with the assist from Konchesky. That was the first time I really felt we belonged back in the league, not to mention a great cameo from Cambiasso coming on at half time for his debut. The West Ham equaliser is the memory that sticks out most from that season bizarrely when you consider it was just to earn a point. The most nervous I have ever been.
  13. Ah well. Maybe have to wait til next season then πŸ˜‚
  14. Just found this, he could feasibly hold this record soon!
  15. I agree I loved that badge. In my lockdown boredom I ordered Barrie Pierpoint's book. He touches on it almost immediately saying that one of his first ideas was to get rid of that badge as it wasn't strong or imposing enough and gave the impression the fox was running away and he wanted something tougher.
  16. The fact that you ever enjoyed one of them adverts is baffling. The bloke's a c**t in either guise.
  17. Not to mention the winner against Sevilla to take us to the Quarter Finals. Bloody love Marc.
  18. Sure it's been mentioned but if you have Sky it's on channel 981.
  19. You only need to look who it is.
  20. Brexit a few weeks after too. We've turned the whole world to shit!
  21. My son's school apparently has over a third of the normal amount of kids in.
