CosbehFox Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 The biggest on-field, coaching experience of those five is Rudkin with the academy squad.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 I would think Walsh/Shakey might be consulted too.

Ricey Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 Think it might be Top ,his dad , Rudkin , Neville and Susan Whelan an I assume. That is my fear. Only one of them is qualified, Rudkin.

GingerrrFox Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 The silence speaks volumes. Usually when there is a manager hunt going on, after a week it becomes apparent who the main contender is for the job. We are over a week in and still no closer to knowing who the new man is, and don't say it could all be sorted and they are waiting to announce because if that was the case the bookies would already have the market sewn up. Gerard Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-rumours-Guus-Hiddink-offered-role/story-26860856-detail/story.html? I hope this isn't true, any manager having to come in will find Hiddink just a hindrance, it just won't work. We already have a DOF type so I can't imagine what Hiddink will do other than poke his nose in? Maybe it indicates we'll be getting a lesser name like Lennon or Cotterill? Gerard Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 The odds have been pretty much static over the last couple of days. We are no nearer to appointing someone. You can bet your arse that as soon as someone becomes likely the price will plummet on Betfair, when there's insider knowledge and money to be made these things always leek. http://sports.betfair.com/Index.do?mi=119328070&ex=1&origin=MRL
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 I wonder if who the owners want is Guus over every and anyone, but he's not willing to commit to taking up a full managerial position, therefore the owners are trying to fudge this by offering a supervisory role instead. GingerrrFox Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 what are bet victor up to? they have had a large bet somewhere cuz all of their prices have shot out! More likely is that because no ****er has a clue who's gonna be the next manager and we are no closer to knowing than last week the market has gone stagnant and they are trying to get it going again. RowlattsFox Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 Just seen on skybet it's 20/1 for the next Leicester manager to be next premier league manager to leave. Might be worth a bet considering we'll probably end up appointing someone shit.

ktfox59 Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 Everything good or bad has managed to get out into the public domain so far. Why should it change? Looking more and more like the candidates from 1 to say 3 arent interested and now we are scratching around trying to make the best of a bad job. I was reading here that big Sam doesnt want it, Lennon and claudio do, but still nothing doing. Am hoping upon hope they have their eye on a younger managerial gem in europe that they can entice here. Its not looking too clever atm. Fingers crossed. Its crazy to think of a third kiss and make up isnt it????
Gerard Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 A sudden drift on Hiddink and Lennon now favourite. Perhaps it's Lennon with Hiddink overseeing? http://sports.betfair.com/Index.do?mi=119328070&ex=1&origin=MRL
Frank to be Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 If the reports of Hiddink rejecting are true I can see us moving quite swiftly for Lennon now.
Bagworthblue Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 everyone bar Ranieri is drifting - the market has no clue right now. I doubt very much that Lennon is in the owner's minds - he doesn't come close to meeting their criteria Rudkin's maybe but not the owners. I wonder who we are on the phone to right now? ARM1968 Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 If it's Lennon get on 20/1 for him to lose his job. Nice bloke. Awesome in the MON years, but he will be utter shite as our manager.

4everfox Posted 8 July 2015 Share Posted 8 July 2015 I wonder why on earth we haven't approached Vincenzo Montella. He'd be a quality appointment, failing that then Claudio Ranieri but I really don't fancy Neil Lennon.
