Corky 13,584 Posted 26 December 2020 Report Share Posted 26 December 2020 Vardy has "assisted" own goals in successive matches.
davieG 17,678 Posted 27 December 2020 Report Share Posted 27 December 2020 Vardy trails Harvey Barnes in the open-play goal standings. While Vardy tops City’s scoring with 13 in all competitions, seven of those have come from the penalty spot. With Barnes’ rasping shot in the first half adding a seventh to his tally, he has, perhaps surprisingly, scored more often from open play than City’s talisman. Barnes’ seventh of the campaign also means he has equalled his number of goals from last season in half the time. It took him 42 games to reach that total last term, while he’s only played 20 matches so far in 2020-21

Popular Post StanSP 28,460 Posted 29 December 2020 Popular Post Report Share Posted 29 December 2020 Don't draw a game all season, then draw 2 in a row. It's like 15/16 where we scored in every game until playing Liverpool, Man City and Bournemouth then drew blanks. Drew with Man Utd at home that season, involved in a 2-5 result in our final game in September, beat a side at home 4-2, beat Spurs away, scored 3 at West Brom, beat Man City away... So basically we'll win the league again
Popular Post UpTheLeagueFox 10,393 Posted 29 December 2020 Popular Post Report Share Posted 29 December 2020 Brendan Rodgers has the best win percentage (all competitions) of any permanent Leicester manager. He has the best win percentage for league games - and all have been top flight matches. Yes, it’s Albrighton. The City winger/wing-back is averaging 2.67 points per game this campaign, having won eight and lost one of the nine Premier League games he has featured in. When he hasn’t played, City have won one and lost four. There are two other City players inside the top 10. Wilfred Ndidi is currently third, behind John Stones, on 2.5 points per game, while Dennis Praet is tied ninth on 2.25 points per game with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho and Ilkay Gundogan. Just seen that, that's crazy, remember in his first few seasons there were similar stats about just how much more we won when Albrighton played too. Just shows how we always look much better with him in the team doing dirty work for other players, so they have more freedom.

BlackFox 32 Posted 3 January Report Share Posted 3 January 19 – Leicester's start is the 19th time a top-flight side have won least seven of their first nine away league games of a season – none of the previous 18 have finished outside of the top four, whilst 50% of those sides have gone on to win the division that season.
