Great stat from Totally Football Podcast:

Our game versus Sheffield Utd will be the first ever top flight game where both teams have won the top flight but not in the 20th Century!

Sheffield United - 1898

Leicester City - 2016 (incase you’d forgotten!)

What about when Preston played Sheffield United in 1898?

Because football didn't exist before 1901.

It would have been difficult to include this as time travel hadn’t been invented yet?!

Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Man Utd all last lost at home to the same team...

Crystal Palace.

Well I suppose, if you want to join the elites, we've already got that one covered.

Until today, we were the last team in the premier league to pick up a card; red or yellow.

Last time we won the league,

going into the international break we had 8 points having won 2,

drawn 2,

this season we have 8 points and have also won 2,

drawn 2,

irronically our last game going into the international break was against Bournemouth,

going into this international break,

bournemouth were are opponents,

do  miracles happen twice🤷🏻‍♂️😉

I did add a follow up tweet to correct the stat.

Damn there's no edit button on Twitter :frusty:

Haha! So true.... An edit button would help! Amazing stat though.

Check this site out, if you haven't already: https://www.twtd.co.uk/league-tables/competition:premier-league/daterange/fromdate:

If you put from I think 4th march to now, it gives you the points total for all the teams over the period Rodgers has managed Leicester.

Tottenham have taken 14 points from their 12 games, but Man U 13 points from 13 games!

I saw a tweet yesterday (can’t find it now) and it was the last time we lost a game at home after going 1-0 up was in 2015, (Arsenal 5-2)

There are 4 unbeaten teams in the PL. The top 3 and the 4th bottom (Wolves).

Just the top three now :)

So 17 of the 20 teams have already lost after only 4 games. This league is very unpredictable, only the top two at the minute are consistent. Hope we can get close to the levels of those two.

In light of the chicken-based politics coming to light today...

At least he's got that going for him
