I have watched this guy for a while. However I am not sure we can afford him. I am pretty sure he could play almost all positions on the pitch.

Embolo and Dembele Ousamane are both amazing prospects, I watched Dembele train in person and he was something else. If he moves to the Prem he will probably go with Arsenal but if there is any chance, we would be stupid not to inquire.

Well compared to others, not really.. But how probable is it that you'll find another Mahrez at 400k£?

Me personally?  Not very.

The clubs scouting department?  Still not likely because Riyad's a unique case.  The real question us fans should be asking is "how likely are we to find more players who suit the club and don't cost stupid money" to which the answer is nobody knows because we've normally never heard of these players until Walsh & co. sniff them out but I'd suggest their record speaks for itself.

To be fair, the club was willing to spend £20M on Musa, so if other wonderkids are going for similar money, the club will make the best decision it can, I'm assured of that. It's about finding the right players (who aren't on crazy fees/wages), money notwithstanding.

I would pay 30 mil for Dembele in a heartbeat, if he cost 40 I would sign him for 40. There no such sign in certainty in football but this kid is the closest thing to a sure thing you will ever find. I have watched him play for 2 years now, I have seen him play in person. This kid is destined to be a ballon d'or player. His upside is way over Martial.

And I don't think it is even unrealistic to sign Isco next year. Real would probably let him leave for 25 mil. I think he would come here, although he has been garbage this year I really believe a fresh challenge would get him right back to his best. He's work ethic is also perfect for the team.

Kante and Drinkwater and the only ones there that can really bring something to a game, and Kante is more than likely to go. I think we need at least one very good cm to compete with DD and Kante and then another if he leaves.

We might already have that very good CM in Amartey, who could potentially compete with DD & Kante. Then King & James are two players who will give 110% for us when they are required to play.

I think in CM we have a good balance, providing Amartey can fulfill his potential.

I may get slated for this but I'd take Defoe for a season if Sunderland go down.

We will need strength in depth now that champions league is confirmed & with him in the squad that's exactly what he'd provide.

He's a danger in sunderlands team, so in a team that creates more chances he can only be an asset.

We are going to be competing in Europe next year, we need to beef up the squad with some real options. I don't think these are enough.

This is the point I'm trying to make, although these are great players that give their all, are they good enough? We need one very good cm at least, one with cl experience, and another should Kante leave.

Yup it's such a shame as I can't see him ever playing for us again.

i assume James will need competitive football to get back to his best.

This means going on loan, likely to the championship.

then there is the question of will he ever reach the level he was before injury, not forgetting that we have come a long way since then and drinkwater is on another level, kante, another planet.

we will surely buy at least one midfielder this summer to strengthen our squad and thats assuming everyone else stays.

inler could possibly leave i feel so if james does well out on loan would he want to come back and be 3rd 4th choice?

will the manager offer him a new contract?

What about Joel Campbell? Is out of service at Arsenal it seems, though he usually does a good job on either wing whenever he's given the odd chance. Works hard defensively as well. Could be a good backup/rotation player for Albrighton.

Of Norwegian players (really the only league i follow other than the PL) I would hope our scouting staff have a look at Rafik Zekhnini. 18 year old winger for Odd BK with great pace and dribbling skills. Would be pretty cheap also, an offer of around £1mill should be enough, and great value for money.

Leicester City scouts were reportedly in the stands to watch Fiorentina creative midfielder Josip Ilicic today.

The Slovenia international has already attracted interest from other clubs this season.

According to Sport Mediaset, Leicester City director of sport Jon Rudkin was at the Stadio Castellani for Fiorentina’s 2-0 defeat to Empoli.

This season the 28-year-old has scored 12 Serie A goals in 25 games, plus two in six Europa League outings.

Free kick specialist Ilicic has been in Italy since 2010, leaving Palermo in 2013 for Fiorentina at a cost of €9m.

Today Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City went seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

They were also mathematically assured a top four finish and therefore Champions League football next season.http://www.football-italia.net/82629/leicester-scouts-ilicic?

Can i be honest here, he just sounds like a typical generic eastern european ending in "ic"

Can, and will sign better.

Replacing Simpson, albrighten and Okazaki with Arias,Dembele and Musa would be the only changes I'd make. Jeffrey Bruma and Vilhenna would be the other two fighting it out to break in from the bench.

Replace these players? Do you actually watch us play?
