RTE aired a show last night about ex-professional players trying their hand at GAA and a GAA player going to train in a professional environment. Shane Williams of Wales went to train with a Donegal Gaelic Football club team and former All Ireland winning captain Michael Murphy went to train with Clermont Auvergne.

Enjoyable.

Irish speaking station TG4 streaming Under 21 Football games tonight for the first time.Reckon it works abroad.

Munster Final between the old firm like rivals Kerry and Cork. Under 21 in GAA is just as intense as the senior. Irish commentary aside could be well worth a watch this. Starts at 7.30.

Works in England, great idea. Do TG4 have any rights for senior championship matches?

Kerry 2-16 (22) Cork 0-6.

A disaster of a night to be starting a stream service.

This is normally a brilliant grade for close competitive football but typical they start covering it live and that happens. Kerry were good but Cork made it far too easy for them. One point from play in 60 minutes. A night to forget.

Dublin won the Leinster final beating Offaly 2-14 (20) to 0-8. 2 Ulster semi finals cancelled due to bad weather.

Kerry look like the next dominant force in the game.

What's this live stream service? Is it available in England?

Think Sky only show the national finals here.

The live stream service is mainly for Underage games (Minor, Under 21, schools for now but will probably expand to colleges and clubs down the road). TG4 has them on their youtube channel. RTE and SKY have the senior rights but you'll find them easy enough online over the summer.

Only active in the last week by TG4 but could be open to people internationally. If you don't know much about the games it'll be a bit lost on you but to learn more about Gaelic Football and Hurling it's a very good introduction.

Underage games are a bit different to say Leicester or England under 21s in that they are important to the local community and a guide to how a team will do in the future. Last year Kerry and Cork played and brought a crowd of 8,000.Not a lot compared to a Premier League game but given the small population of Ireland the attendances are insane.

The Under 21 national semi finals are on in 2 weeks and are always enjoyable. That said I thought Cork and Kerry would be a good one last night so you can never quite tell.

Last round of the National Football League on today.

A smashing game of football on now between Monaghan and Dublin on now. Monaghan leading 1-9(12) to 0-8.

Dublin have been unbeaten for 35 games. The longest unbeaten record in Gaelic Football history.

A great weekend of matches that was.

Hurling League semi final pairings.

Limerick v Galway

Wexford v Tipperary

A good day for GaelicFox as Clare survive 2 relegation battles.

The Clare football story is interesting. 2 years ago they needed a win against fermanagh on the final day to stay in Division 3. Fermanagh were promoted the week before, celebrated heavily and went through the motions as Clare got the win. Last year Clare got promoted and yesterday survived in Division 2 at the expense of Fermanagh who were relegated on account of scoring difference.

Something to be wary of for Leicester fans for the week that's in it and talks of taking it easy. You never know when things like this can come back to haunt you....

Clare Football is a topsy turvy affair

football only played serously in west Clare

yet there are more people living in Loughborough than live in west Clare !

Amazing to think they can survive in div 2 which such paltry numbers to draw from

the Hurlers have a much bigger following and much bigger population to pull fro but even so they do well to compete when you consider limerick haven't won an all ireland in 44 years now !!!

I'd admire Clare for that actually. As much as it disappointed me when they and Wexford won all irelands at our expense back in the 90s (and the 92 munster football final to boot!) they took the chance and we didn't. Was like Spuds being pipped to the post by Leicester last year.

Munster semi final should be good.On the June bank holiday weekend. Football the week before.

Limerick a long way from being a force I'd say but I'd love to win the league this year.

Kerry 0-20 Dublin 1-16 (19)

Superb match . Kerry Dublin is easily one of if not the best event in Irish sport.  Dublin beaten for the first time in 36 games. They had a chance to win the league for the 5th time in a row. Had a chance to force extra time at the end but Kerry deserved it.

Championship begins next month. Dublin still favorites but been around a long time. Could be interesting this year.

National League Hurling semi finals today.

Galway 1-21 Limerick 1-11

Tipperary 5-18 (33) Wexford 1-19 (22)

Incident during the game between Wexford and Tipperary in the first half involving Wexford's manager. Remind you of anything?!!
