Voll Blau Posted 24 February 2017 Share Posted 24 February 2017 Olympiacos v Besiktas should be a quiet one. Gent v Genk and Schalke v Gladbach too.

Wymsey Posted 24 February 2017 Share Posted 24 February 2017 Rostov have surprised a few in the competition and play a similar style to us last season. Could give Man Utd a few problems. Never heard of the teams Gent nor Genk before until yesterday...
spacemunky Posted 24 February 2017 Share Posted 24 February 2017 Nice trip to Russia for the Man United fans. Gent vs Genk just sounds like a good one!

MC Prussian Posted 9 March 2017 Share Posted 9 March 2017 The Greek-Turkish friendship continues. Constant booing from the stands for Besiktas.

urban.spaceman Posted 16 March 2017 Share Posted 16 March 2017 Half a billion quid spent since Fergie retired and it still takes them 70 minutes to score against a team currently 8th in the Russian Premier League at the Old Trafford Library. The bastards.
AjcW Posted 16 March 2017 Share Posted 16 March 2017 That whole banana stunt is classic mourinho trying to show how desperately tired his players are for the cameras
MC Prussian Posted 16 March 2017 Share Posted 16 March 2017 Sorry, @StanSP: Olympiacos and That German Team are now out. Mönchengladbach suffer the cruel fate of exiting due to the away goal rule. Nobody else but themselves to blame, though: At 2-0 up against Schalke, you simply need to do better!
Wymsey Posted 17 March 2017 Share Posted 17 March 2017 Enjoyed the Man Utd game. What a nice contrast in their style of play in this match (players not falling over on purpose and actually on their feet playing decent football), compared to their game against Chelsea on Monday. But struggling to see how Pogba is considered world-class, though. Does look frustratingly average.
StanSP Posted 18 March 2017 Share Posted 18 March 2017 Enjoyed the Utd game?! It was so slow and laboured and just boring!
MC Prussian Posted 13 April 2017 Share Posted 13 April 2017 Fans at tonight's Lyon - Besiktas game fled their stand prior to kick-off due to crowd trouble and because of flares thrown down from the upper stands.
FrankieADZ Posted 14 April 2017 Share Posted 14 April 2017 was pretty impressed with Kara Mbodji during the Anderecht Utd game, could well be a good addition if we go back in for him in the summer

Have Lyon done something wrong, upset people for some reason recently? What's going on, why all the aggro with Lyon atm?! Or is it just coincidence? What's going on, why all the aggro with Lyon atm?! Or is it just coincidence? That's a Bastia thing from what I gather. They do seem to have issues with a fraction of their fanbase being complete nutters and there's plenty of French football fans who believe the league ignored the violence issues in Corsica for too long, tolerating such comportment because they don't want to offend that part of the country (due to historic reasons, mostly). Plus, a handful of Bastia security staff were the ones who started to attack Lyon players (following a heated verbal encounter between the two parties). But goalkeeper Lopes has a few questions to be answered, too... Known to wind up opposing fans on a regular basis, from what I have read.
Izzy Posted 20 April 2017 Share Posted 20 April 2017 Fellani is just a thug for Man Utd. A big lump who just jumps on people and barges them out of the way. Anderlect doing ok so far. In the balance this one...

trabuch Posted 20 April 2017 Share Posted 20 April 2017 Introduction of Felaini has similarities to Ulloa yesterday. Manure looking much more dangerous now. The difference is they are playing Anderlecht - a fair bit easier than AT Mad
