New chants and songs

Recommended Posts

Will we be having a go at -

Who our the ball in Southampton’s net,

who put the ball in Southampton’s net,

who put the ball in Southampton’s net,

half the f*****g team did!

its hardly original but how often do you see your team put 9 past their opponents? It’s usually only a song that the likes of Man Utd or Man City ever get to sing and even then only once ever few years.

We need a new Vichai song.

Here we go:

Going on up to the spirit in the sky,

It's where I'm gonna go when I die,

When I die and they lay me to rest ,

I'm gonna be winning the league with Khun Vicahi!

(repeat)

What’s the words to the new chant the UFS boys are doing at the minute, to the tune of Ajax’s 90 Minuten Lang chant?

We also need to clarify the new ‘On Wednesday nights’ lyrics. Are we singing it in the past tense now or are there new words? It’s difficult to make out with everyone singing different versions.

For 90 minutes long,

we’ll sing this song for Maddison

running past defenders,

try and stop him if you can

Rehash of the Leonardo song for Chilwell - don’t expect it to catch on in the current climate  but at least it rhymes 🤣

Oh his name is Ben Chilwell

Leicester and England’s Number 3

Didn’t cost a f***in fortune

Cos we bought him through our academy

To the tune of LSF - Kasabian

We're on it

Get on it

The Blues are on fire

We've got Jamie and Youri

Ndidi in the middle

(repeat)

Lalalalalalalalalala

The "Laaa la laaaa" bit got going for the first time in a while in SK1 on Saturday.

This song is catchy and would surely get even our fans involved. Someone put some words together. Maybe for Brendan?

We were the first English club to use Bad moon rising (loosely) for Ulloa and the first to use the Our boys in blue tune because of Socceroo Fox. Our song book would be a bit more original if other clubs hadn't latched onto them.

One thing that frustrates me though is how out of tune we are, football isn't a choir but both big Glasgow clubs manage to do it so why can't we? lol

Genuinely think that comes from the East Midlands accent tbf. I’ve noticed it with forest and derby too - we do sound like kicking out time at the local WMC though I agree.

I'll always remember, when Leicester won the league

When Vardy broke the record, and Mahrez ruled supreme

They said we couldn't do it, Ranieri dared to dream

We're the famous Leicester City and we won the Premier League

We're always going on about how we don't sing about the title win, this has been sat around for a couple of years and could really bang if we were bothered.

Tune?
