It's no use wasting his talent on repetitive defensive duties because they are so draining of the explosive energy needed at the other end. And it's the same with Mahrez really. Surely a back four and up to three spoilers in midfield should cope with most attacks especially as hardly anyone plays with more than two guys up front and modest back-up. Tackle, pick a pass and do it in a composed fashion. There was a spell between just after half time to about Sixty mins in when Ndidi looked like he'd been playing in the Prem for years.
