Prices are crazy and the ones that are affordable are not direct flights. Avoid Midlands airports and try and find one thats near madrid.

other possible airports are Zaragoza, Valencia or Alicante but they are miles away. Inbetween 3-5 hours drive and not much cheaper than flying direct due to easter holiday

I reckon tickets will filter down a lot further than expected given the cost of flights.

Thomas Cook will be a popular one. However, I think unless there are many extra flights put on or a reasonable charter flight, tickets will go down to members easily.

I wonder when the home tickets will be released. Will this take the normal structure of going through season ticket holders to members with so many reserved for each?

With allocation at just under 3K highly doubt this will reach members

By luck me and the family had booked a weeks holiday in Barcelona for Easter. So whilst I'm disappointed we didn't draw Barca, Madrid is only a short train journey away. Lucky hands!!!

Bollocks, I was planning it all for the Tuesday, had a great package sorted out, then realised the game was on the Wednesday, then was waiting to hear back from my mates and now the prices have gone crazy, I think i've ****ed this up! :banghead:

I'm hoping it all calms down and prices setlle a little/more flights are put on.

Out of interest (and i'm pretty sure I know the answer) can you get the Thomas Cook flights without a match ticket? Like I said I think I know what the answer is - no, it's sold as a package.

But just wondering as a couple of my mates will want to be going who won't be able to get a match ticket, so just wondering/hoping that might be an option, albeit probably expensive.

Flying Gatwick to Barcelona then training it from Barca. £130ish. That's the best we found of a very bad bunch.
