Bit of advice.

The tram/metro which runs to the Hawthorns now starts at New Street station, right near the central pubs. They run every eight minutes and take fifteen minutes. It's an option rather than jumping on the train at Snow Hill.

Thanks for the advice, where did you hear this.

I've got tickets from Leicester to New St and then Snow Hill to The Hawthorns.

I can't find any info relating to the changes, thanks.

I live in Birmingham.

Now youve bought your train tickets, you can't use the metro/tram. It's like as if you were using a bus basically.

So are you saying there is no service from Snow Hill to The Hawthorns, and there is a replacement bus service?

Like I've said, I can't seen to find any confirmation of this.

The ticket you have got from Snow Hill to Hawthorns is for the train and yes it is running. To go from outside New st station  on the metro to the Hawthorns is a different system and you would need to buy a different ticket. You buy metro tickets on the metro from a conductor.
