Trouble in Madrid

Don't know if it has been mentioned elsewhere, but Bayern Munich released this statement yesterday:

After the brutal action of Spanish police forces against FC Bayern Munich supporters during the Champions League match at Real Madrid on April 18, the FC Bayern committee turned to the German federal government. "We are still appalled by the excessive exaggeration of Spanish police officers against some of our fans at the Bernabeu Stadium," said Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, FC Bayern Munich's Chairman. "FC Bayern sees itself in this matter as being responsible to its supporters, we have communicated this to the federal government."

In a letter to the Federal Chancellery, Rummenigge and his deputy on the board, Jan-Christian Dreesen, asked the federal government to "protest against the disproportionate, violent police use in the name of FC Bayern against the Spanish government". In addition, statements were made to the Federal Chancellery from eyewitnesses and video clips.

It had come to the attention of the security forces, because Bayern fans showed an unauthorized transparency. The display of a prohibited banner justifies "by no means the brutal action of Spanish police officers," says Rummenigge.

Doubt anything will come from it but German teams once again showing why they are so much better than English teams in regards to listening and looking after their own fans.

Well it's likely the Madrid police were whacking shareholders round the head in the bernabeu.

For my dissertation, I am conducting a survey on policing abroad for fans of English clubs and how this differs from UK policing. It would be great to get Leicester fan's experiences abroad, especially considering what happened in Madrid. The survey should take roughly 3 minutes! Thank you.
