What a match!

Can anyone tell me why Firmino gets booked for taking off his shirt when all he has on underneath is a plain, red shirt?

Whos that meant to be offending?

?

Its nothing to do with offense, sponsors etc.

Its listed as an offense in the laws of the game as an act of unsportsmanlike behaviour.

It's a shame we aren't a bit more consistent. Arsenal I think will stumble to 6th, a way behind whoever comes 5th (which I'm not even ruling Chelsea out on yesterdays performance). With a bit more consistency from us they'd be catchable.

If we don't beat them this year we never will.

Weve beaten them already remember

Apparently the Stoke shortlist is down to 3...Steve McClaren, Paul Lambert and Gary Megson!

If anyone wants a laugh, the oatcake forum is in meltdown at the moment!

You can’t be serious? that is horrendous, I’m sure there are better managers in the championship and league one lol well o’neill turned them down now so maybe this is all they have lol

Looking at the list available managers there are few managers out there with experience of avoiding relegation which is what they need.

They could do A LOT worse than to try and lure Pearson away from Leuven. Experience of beating the drop, known motivator, reasonable age, history of taking clubs from a low ebb to success whilst building a squad from scratch and axing expensive deadwood, not afraid of playing a style of football which is appropriate for the ability of the squad  but not averse to a sprinkling of flair. Fits the Stoke bill well in my opinion and you'd think would fancy a return to the PL.

It's been in meltdown since even before QSF turned them down.  New manager threads keep popping up like mushrooms and some are indeed hallucinogenic ...

When Hughes asked at the end "who else is going to do it?", he was more grounded in reality than the club or fans.  It's an unattractive job, only gettng worse the closer we get to the end of the window,

Arsenal are just awful. Wenger has taken them backwards. I am so delighted afc are so shite, Sanchez and ozil leaving. I just want us to beat them at the KP.

Look 1st how far forward he brought them......I would be proud to have his CV..

He asked players he bought...to hold their hands up, to be the quality they profess to be,

to play the way he created, he gave them a platform....If he failed, what then did those so called

Superstars do...Wenger I believe is still a top coach, who stayed at a semi-successfull club, who forgot

to back him..and support him, and sold him out...

Yes imho, he should of moved on 2 yrs ago, but he can hold his head up, For what a great Part he played in the

History of the PL .

Oh yes we weasels have fun, when we can take the mick at their expense,Hoping sometimeswe just might

Get a result against a consistent top 5 club....but the pisstakers remain the nobodies..

Not even the court of pundits, can challenge such managers CV..

Wenger, jumped in the trenches, Won all local national Competitions,

reached european finals, never Winning one. But hey-ho..give me his last 6 years!!

Never out of the top 5-6, qualified consistently for Europe.

Better , often than 89 clubs from 92 in the English profi world....

If The foxes had his record, my God I would not be hacking him off..

More the players for not living up to his standards of late, and the club Behind him  not being

Descisive.

Those thoughts come 1st, before any outside fan, believe they can feel cosy, by jumping on

The Disconsenters wagon...We can all say and have an opinion whether he should step down,

But he doesnt deserve spitfull disrespectfull incompetent utterings from outside, not now he

is probably, Struggling to get his also ran players not producing those reaL highs, of yesteryear.

I might have loved to hate Arsenal, like the trees, but Cloughie and Now Wenger, help to up the

Challenges and Quality of what was a poor English football market...

Its easy to hack and jizz, higher achievers, showing respect with banter is far more difficult...

Wenger was good we he only had one other competitor. Now he has 4 or 5.

Afc are the 3rd biggest net spender over the last 3 years.

He has a great record of being in 3 euro finals and lost them all. He lets Sanchez, Ozil and Wilshire run down their contracts so are worth virtually nothing. Wenger says by doing this the club are in "an ideal situation". Wtf!!!

Was good but is totally awful now. A specialist in failure.

Also, what top team would tolerate not winning the league in 14 years and keeping their job. Man Utd, CFC, Real, Barca? The manager would be long gone after a year.

You mention also ran players. Wenger signs every one of them. I don't think Wenger even coaches any more. He always blames everyone else, pitches, refs, fixture congestion, injuries anything but himself.

I would love Stoke find a new good young English manager, from the lower leagues, save themselves from relegation...

Keep the silly competive midlands banter going...

Then we get to see the Wolves next season....bril.!!

I'm sorry you'll have to explain that last paragraph. I've had a couple of beers but that hasn't helped!!

Most afc fans I know think Wenger should've gone 8 years ago.
