The irony of the UK standing up against war crimes escapes you then?

Remember Iraq?

The irony of nothing has escaped me, I've long argued Blair should be held to account for the evidence he presented to parliament and still believe he should. Although are you saying because of the Iraq war we now turn a blind eye to everything in the World? Because if you are that's a moronic way of looking at things.

If you have made mistakes in the past it should still not stop you doing what you believe is right in the future.

Can just see another rocket being launched, everyone else condemns it, some other sanctions will be put into place but these efforts fail as another one will probably be launched after.

Vice versa etc..

There's been a lot of folk on Twitter today saying they had to look up what 'dotard' means and then saying well that's fair enough

I know. Some were saying that they made the word up - when clearly the NK leadership knows more about the English language than they do. lol

It's strange times indeed when two world leaders are at loggerheads and you don't really have an instinct over which one to take sides with

I think the only reasonable thing to do is not to take sides with either of them!

Its like when you see two drunk blokes fighting with each other outside a nightclub. Your instinct isn't to believe that one of them is fighting on the side of moral righteousness.

An earthquake has been detected near the NK missile test site..

Chinese seismologists believe it was some sort of 'explosion', but South Korea think it's not due to a nuclear test.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was actually the former that caused it..

China tells NK companies in its territory to shut down by January.

Good news or the potential catalyst for a new large-scale conflict?

Bit of both I'd imagine. I'm genuinely surprised that China is going along with all these fairly harsh punishments tbh. Them putting pressure on NK should be a good thing. If your 1 ally is telling you to pack it in, it's a pretty good rule of thumb to listen imo.

Think NK will finally calm down a bit now they're being 'cornered in' in terms of trade restrictions threats against them.

But no doubt Trump has got some form of military plan that could wind them up.

All feels like a storm in a teacup at the moment tbh. Tit for tat etc.

"25 years of talking to North Korea hasn't worked, only one thing will work now" says Trump regarding the NK situation..

Hope NK doesn't see this as a threatening attitude towards them, or it'll make them even more determined to test further missiles.

Guess it depends on your definition of working. If regime falling followed by more openness is your definition, then no - it hasn't worked. But, alternatively if preventing a horribly bloody war that would result in millions of casualties and the laying waste of a major OECD state is your definition - then yes, it really has worked.

Seems like some paranoid totalitarian dictatorships are in favour of equal opportunities after all

Sooo...apparently the Norks nicked a lot of computer data from SK last year, including assassination plans. If you've seen SK computer infrastructure and the software they're still using, you will not be surprised at this.

Just looking over various newspaper websites today and The Express really is a disgrace of a publication. It must've had about 10 different articles talking about World War 3. It really is the cest pit of British journalism.
