If he had unknown heart issues it's amazing he managed to make it through his career unaffected.. but he was fit an healthy so it's a big shock if it was something that developed recently. poor kids I don't know why it is, but black athletes/people in general seem prone to heart failure at an early age. Think the statistics show that to be the case too.
Wymsey Posted 22 April 2017 Share Posted 22 April 2017 Out of the blue. RIP. Not sure how (apart from being very fortunate/relieved of course) Fabrice Muamba in particular is reacting from this. Depending on the time of reactions from fellow staff involved, CPR was, presumably, eventually given but was not effective enough to revive him? I went on a CPR training recently and the trainer expressed of his surprise in some even qualified staff in businesses struggling to do the correct processes and techniques in a real critical situation like that despite being qualified to do so. Maybe this could increase the awareness of knowing what to do and when these situations and give the victim a better chance of survival?
