Summer Clear Out? The Poll

Seems after the last few results posters have began to say we need a big clear out, so I've picked out some of the controversial players to get a understanding of opinion. Forum only allows for five questions btw. Enjoy.

Everybodies been banging on about Morgan, King ( Not Me ) Simpson, Mahrez, Drinkwaterand and if I went back to the Swansea game we'd only be left with Ndidi

Slimani - See Ulloa

 

Kapustka - keep

 

Musa - loan

 

Amartey - loan maybe

 

Ulloa - I'd be happy to keep either of Slimani or Ulloa. I (think) Slimani will stay and Ulloa will move. It's close as to who (I'd) keep. Both offer different qualities.

If had to say right now I'd get rid of Slimani. Let's be clear... He cost us 30m...he hasn't been anywhere near value for money 

 

However I think he does need a continuous run of games and also a pre season so I'm just about willing to give him that. Do thjnk his work rate has improved but his touch at times is awful. Needs to win more in the air in terms of flick ons from goal kicks etc. 

 

Musa.... Has to go 

Amartey I'd keep for another season 

Kapustka I think has something but needs game time so a loan. 

Ulloa needs games and should be allowed to move on now

Given the amount of times I've heard 'he's not on the same page as his team-mates' for Slimani so far, I think a full pre-season for him should be a requirement before deciding what to do with him, to be fair - if he starts fitting in better, then keep him as plan-B, or let him go and keep Ulloa if he's still interested.

 

Kap and Amartey I feel need games to get up to speed, which we don't have time for in the Premier League, so loan them out and see how they do.

 

Musa's quick, but that's not enough at this level.  He'd do better with a lot more game-time, no doubt, but since he'd have to replace Vardy, it hasn't happened.  Do we have time to keep him running in the background in case Vardy can't play? Is it worth it? Probably not, so let him go.

Some of our fans need to be careful for what they wish for. I've seen people calling for all of Benalouane, Amartey, Mendy, Musa, Kapustka, Amartey, King, Okazaki, Ulloa and Slimani to be moved and obviously Wasyl's contract has expired too.

 

Most of those players have been massively underwhelming this season but we simply cannot afford to turnover such a large number of players as it means we have to bring too many players in, which is one, really difficult to do as conducting transfer business is hard and tedious enough already let alone having to bring in half a squad.

 

Secondly, it's not great for the team spirit which we all know is essential to any (or lack of) success. Lastly, we've invested a lot in these players and not just financially, we can't just cut our losses without giving them a fair crack of the whip after a solid preseason and giving them a go in a more functional side.

Amazing how often people say they want Andy King to go, lumping him with the dross.

 

He is Leicester City. There's no way we're going to sell. OK, he doesn't set the world alight but he does a job and chips in with a few goals. It says a lot that he has been pretty much the only constant at the club for the past 10 years. 

 

How such a loyal servant to the club can be treated with such disdain is beyond me.

Where is Rudkin?
