Col city fan Posted 25 June 2017 Share Posted 25 June 2017 Really hope this is right and that Stan is correct. This lad would be a good signing BUT he must get the proper supply. I'm not gonna be too happy until we see that key, quality midfielder come in. That unlocker of defences. Striking options of Vardy, Slim and Kelechi is exciting. But they must get the supply. StanSP Posted 25 June 2017 Share Posted 25 June 2017 I'm as hopeful as everyone else that this deal gets done but bear in mind, 'personal terms' are still to be confirmed/agreed. Wouldn't surprise me if Iheanacho asks for 6 figures salary to be honest.

Guest CityFan 06 Posted 25 June 2017 Share Posted 25 June 2017 I've rated Iheanacho for a great while. Good finisher, impressive goal record at Manchester City. He would be a real coup if we manage to sign him.

Danizen Posted 25 June 2017 Share Posted 25 June 2017 £50m is probably the ceiling for a club of our size, anyway. Even with inflation I doubt we'd get more even if he scored 20+ goals a season. Plus the buyback deal means that if another club becomes interested in him, we won't be low-balled with £30m offers as we'll have a valuation almost set in stone. Wymsey Posted 25 June 2017 Share Posted 25 June 2017 Think this one will be down to 'who'll pay him the most'. If this is the case, his attitude won't fit in with Leicester's ethos etc.
