Typical win under Pearson. Two central defenders scoring. Forwards not getting any service, no creativity in the squad, 39% possession (29 in the first half)... even Nigel himself acknowledged we didn't deserve the win.

He is indeed. He is listed as 'Head of Technical Scouting' on the OHL website.

Another ex-City man on their staff, is Paul Balsom - 'Head of Performance Innovation'.

Interesting that all the OHL staff have English job titles - whereas everything else on the OHL site is in Flemish! I wonder when they are going to get an English website - for all us surrogate fans!

Paul Balsom is a genius.

Yeah, he's the only one that's happy unfortunately. Dreadful performance once again, 1-1 draw at home. During the match, he was working hard to motivate the guys though.

If only that free-kick had gone in...

They are probably hoping that he is sacked so all their Plastic English fans can clear off!

It would still have been a dreadful performance, just like the 1-2 win of last week.

Pretty much.

We know him. We really do.. you’ll get some matches that infuriate  you and some that will make you feel like you are Barcelona... but him and the owners are not preparing you to be top ten and no disrespect, that kind of plan got you relegated...they won’t stop until you ARE the best.

It must be a real pig that someone has bought your club and are putting money, technology and training into your team. Especially considering how fantastic you were doing to be relegated from the Belgian first division. You're not related to the old owners by any chance?

I say KP cut their losses, sell Leuven for a quid to some crackheads and try our luck in the Dutch non-League instead. Nigel will be much happier there anyway. Although saying that when James visits he’ll have free legal access to hookers. Actually this isn’t a great idea.

Pearson just isn't the same without Shakey and Walsh. They were a perfect trio IMO. There's a chance they could all find themselves working together again at some point, although Pearson really has to be doing better over there, to get noticed by Championship sized clubs again.

I'm not sure NP actually wants to get get noticed. He's never really enjoyed the limelight - notoriously difficult for the media to work with, and often spends his time off by himself, with only the occasional pack of Romanian wild dogs for company.

In Belgium he's got himself a steady job without as much of a spotlight on him, employers he seems to get along with reasonably well (previous incidents forced their hand, somewhat), and arguably a nicer place to live in general. He looks much happier and healthier now than what he did at Derby, for instance.

They are calling for his head on the facebook page. And i'm not even one of them. Nice try though. How many matches did you see of Pearson in Leuven again?
Hirst is playing on the wing (while he is absolutely not a winger), with only the fullback in backup. Then Pearson subs the fullback and puts the DM in his place, leaving Hirst all alone on the wing. When the local news station then asks why he made this change, he snaps and barks that he doesn't have to explain his tactics to anyone. Supporters can't watch training sessions anymore, communication is 0.

No, i'm not related to the previous owners, who are basically moneygrubbing *****, who built the club with mainly taxpayers money, and then cashed out. But, i see a lot of people here, clueless, like yourself, about the topic at hand and the clubs history. Yet somehow thinking they are experts on the subject.

Beerschot missed 3 sitters. (Hirst only missed one)

And you fail to understand that you're on the LCFC forum that is for LCFC fans to comment.

plus your team was shit before the Thais and the NP arrived - they haven't become any more shit.
