Arsenal were through anyway, I'm sure they weren't really giving it their all, and lost narrowly to a penalty.

Everton are week after week getting worse. As much as their group stage was over, same as Arsenals, they still got absolutley ripped apart. Arsenal earned a night off by getting through already, Everton with the way things are going have not, they need a win from somewhere to kick start their season.

And herein lies the problem with Arsenal. They had a very decent and experienced starting line-up yesterday with Giroud, Ospina, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Wilshere, Welbeck, Coquelin... The penalty was debatable. Still no excuse for not showing up.

Maybe, but that's an issue Arsenal have had in general for a while. Lacklustre displays etc. But comparing it to Everton when ones been hammered and the other lost narrowly to a penalty, one is managerless and in the relegation zone whilst the other is challenging for a top 4 place, I think is a little unfair on Arsenal. They lost but they're it's not another hammering on top of another hammering like it is for Everton.

Felt sorry for the Everton fans yesterday - empty seats everywhere. Goodison Park on par with a morgue. Can't blame them for not wanting to watch that horror show, still think the club could use more and better support.

Well Arsenal's squad is a lot worse than ours. What a poor second team. Iwobi and Wilshere must be two of the most overhyped players in the league. Total rubbish. and their striker has lost all confidence in his game. Osters look good going forward but their defence and in particular their GK look very average.

Please get in the Europa league next season Leicester, Semi-finals at worst.
