Watched the players get off the bus, can't remember seeing him, and he definitely wasn't there during the warm up.

Well Jakupovic is at a similar level that Rooney was, so you're probably right.

Both are petty? Really?

Pearson was very well respected in the dressing room by and large.

Shakespeare was the unanimous choice of the dressing room to replace Ranieri.

Done an interview for the biggest Swiss rag today, leading up to the England - Switzerland friendly.

 

Pretty happy to be No.3 between the posts, admits that it was a tough job in the first place trying to get past Schmeichel, but also says that he and Puel don't get along that well.

Coupled with the fact that he's allegedly made his frustration very clear to the gaffer, but the club not willing to sell him over this summer means that he's intentionally being kept in that vacuum where he has no room for improvement and little chance of playing - unless at least one out of Schmeichel or Ward is injured.

One could consider that some sort of punishment, of course.

 

Other than that, praise for the club, the players and the chairman.

 

Two more years on his contract. There are worse ways of making a living...

Seems like he knew what he was getting into but us not selling him even though he perhaps wanted to seems a bit unfair

Possibly but we are effectively one injury away from needing an experienced keeper on the bench, he’s under contract and it’s in the interests of the club who pay him well to keep him here.
